Officer Pesesky graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1977 and Mansfield State College. Officer Pesesky
started his career in Law Enforcement with the Chemung County Sheriff's Department in 1982 serving as both, a Correction Officer as well as a Deputy Sheriff. He started with the Elmira Heights Police Department in August 1987. Departmental duties include firearms instructor, hostage negotiator, chemical agents instructor, general topics instructor as well as the present director of the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Pesesky is also a past President of the Elmira Heights P.B.A. and served in this capacity for eleven years. He is married and has three children.
