Patrolman Churches graduated from Odessa-Montour Central High School and Corning Community College. In 1995 Officer Churches graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy and was the Class Leader. For many years he worked as a fitness instructor at Club Nautilus and then was employed at Westinghouse Corporation for a brief period of time before being hired at the Elmira Heights Police Department in January of 1994. his duties include fingerprint and mug shot submissions, vehicle impounds and News Releases. Officer Churches is married with two children.
