1.a. How do the endings of  Dr  Faustus ,  A Doll’s House, and   Pygmalion   

       affect  the contents and styles of  these plays?

1.b.    Who are the   playwrights? ( Names)

1.c.     What is the original language each play was written in?    

1.d.    In Which century –date of the publication – does each play publish? 

 

1.e.Define  Cycle and Morality play in the Medieval England .  Do they 

        have   influence on the later secular drama of the sixteenth century?

2.a. Who is the speaker { I }of the following three quotations ?

2.b.   Who is   {You}? What is the  title of the play?

2.c. Analyze them and show how  these quotes    relate to the three titles.

2.e. Who are the dramatists( Names).         

 

 

The First Quote        O gentle Faustus , leave this damned art,

                                    This magic that will charm thy soul to hell ….

                                    Then , thou are banished from the sight of heaven!....

                                    For gentle son  , I speak it not in wrath….

 

The Second Quote    And I hear he’s quite efficient on the job ….

                                   Well, I might as well say it straight out; we’re on a 

                                 firstname basis….I tell you it’s been cruciating for me.

 

The  Third Quote   I want some kindness.  I know I’ am a common

                                 ignorant girl, and you a book- learned 

                                 gentleman…What I done …what I did was not for             

                                 dresses and the taxis:….

 

2.f. Define ‘soliloquy’ . Use two examples from Dr Faustus and A Doll’s
