| After our very busy week and a half in the Teton's and Yellowstone, we needed a few days with full hookups. We stayed four nights at Cody, WY. at Absoroka RV Park. While in Cody we Visited the Buffalo Bill Historical Center which is five seperate museums on one campus. Plains Indians, Natural History, Paintings and statues of the Old West, Firearms and Buffalo Bill Cody. All five are great museums by themselves but all in one place is awesome. I was most impressed with the gun collection.....thousands and thousands of rifles, many of them made in Connecticut at Winchester, Colt, Marlin and others. There was so much to see that we had to continue it the following day. Good thing, the admission is good for two days. The second day also had a Native American Pow Wow on the grounds of the museum. The best museum of all that we have seen on our trip. |
