.Sept 1: Marc, Rita's nephew, also from Albuquerque was in Scranton for business. Johanne and I picked him up after his work and took him to Nay Aug park, Dinner in town, a ride around Scranton and the countryside which is so different than his home state of New Mexico. We enjoyed showing him around and he seemed to enjoy it also.
.Aug 17: We said our goodbyes to Linn and Nancy on this Sunday morning and headed towards Pennsylvania and one more stop, Holiday Pines Campground, before reaching Judy and Don's home in Dunmore, PA. and a relaxing stay with family.
.Oct 1st. We got together with Patti, Nicole and Adrianna at Lorenzo's Pizza we had a really fun time The alternate picture was taken by Adrianna.
.Sept 10 to Oct 10: We left Pennsylvania and went to Connecticut for a month to visit family and friends. Unfortunatly our usual RV park in North Branford had no openings so we were forced to stay in East Hampton, quite far from everything. We did not get to spend as much time, with everyone, as we would have liked. We spent one day with Al & Betty, going out for a pizza dinner and then to their house for dessert and looking at pictures of their new Granddaughter, our great neice, Riley. We met Bill and Diane for lunch at the diner in Middletown. We went to Lil and Charles for a great lunch and to see their new home. Really a great job of remodeling. Then, another great home cooked meal with our friends Anne and Rich. Also got to work on Anne's computer and printer.
. While at Linn and Nancy's we met up with their son and his three sons at the town green which had a farmers market in progress and then joined them all for lunch at a local buffet. August 16th was our anniversary (39th) and they treated us to a nice home cooked meal and that evening they took us to an all brass concert at the Blossom Festival We sat outside of the amphitheater on the lawn. After the concert we waited with the hundreds of other spectators until dark and were treated to a spectacular fireworks show. We had a really great and relaxing visit.

.Aug 15 - 17: This day we started out and got about 5 miles and the damn engine stalls. Our hearts drop as the problem starts all over again. We continue on the 215 miles to Medina, Ohio and a two night stay in the driveway of our RV friends, Linn & Nancy. We met them this spring as we all were volunteering at Livingston, TX We were really impressed with their beautiful home full of many clocks of all types. Two decks overlooking a wooded ravine, with many birds, squirrels and other wildlife. .
.Aug 18 - Sept 10: Our ride, although short was through the mountains and very tense as the engine quit twice and we had a number of hiccups, each one at a point where the transmission needed to downshift. But, make it we did and Johanne has made it clear she will not ride in the RV until the stalling problem is fixed. She will drive the car to our destinations if necessary. But, at this time our thoughts are preparing a surprise birthday party for Johanne's sister Judy and to keep it a secret.
Along with the surprise our daughter Patti, Craig and our great-granddaughter Adrianna came in from Connecticut to join in the surprise and to visit with us for the first time since last year. Johanne, Patti and Adrianna took Aunt Judy to Nay Aug park so that Adrianna could go on the rides. While they were gone it gave us a chance to get the surprise party organized, And Judy said she was surprised.
.Aug 23: This Saturday was a great day as it is the day we are going to surprise sister Judy with a picnic/ party in honor of her 70th birthday.
