Casting was not a very thought out issue.  Anne and I knew what parts we had and mostly which of our friends we wanted in each part.  Some of the parts were written in specificly for that actor.  The only real problem we had with casting is that origonally the Dwarf Warrior had a mother as well as a father and she was removed because we couldn't find anyone to fill the role.  I guess we also debated the part of the Dwarf Child, because we weren't sure which kid would do the best job acting.
Everyone listed as a specific character also played many smaller parts, but I didn't want to write played extras over and over again.
