WARMING FAMILIES: ASHLAND KY CHAPTER
This is the Ashland KY chapter of Warming Families; a website for individuals that are interested in helping warm families across America.  We volunteer to become "Area Volunteers" or donate to the project.  An Area Volunteer is the individual that collects new or handmade items to distribute to the local nursing homes, homeless shelters or abuse shelters.  Anyone can become an Area Volunteer.  If you would just like to donate items, contact an Area Volunteer and she/he will make arrangements to pick up your items.  All items donated must be new.  They can be purchased or handmade.

I am the Area Volunteer for Ashland KY.  I accept crocheted, knitted, sewed, or quilted items such as hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, slippers, socks, quilts, dolls and bears.  I, also, accept 7" and 8" crocheted or knitted squares that I can sew together to create afghans/blankets.

Other household and personal items can be donated too.  I accept dishes, silverware, pots, pans, small appliances, glassware, towels, wash cloths, dish towels, dish cloths, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.

If you would like to become an Area Volunteer, contact Kaye Rogers at [email protected].  If you would like to donate, contact me at [email protected] or call me at 606-369-1299.
