Merle works in design and development at a cycling clothing manufacturer. Jennie is an election policy analyst for a national nonprofit organization. Since Ben was born, she's been doing this part-time in order to have more time at home with him.
We live in Colorado, in the metro Denver area, but we talk all the time about moving out of the city. We're not sure we want to raise our kids in the suburbs, and we're definitely tired of the noise, congestion and pollution!
Merle's an avid cyclist and a sometimes runner. Jennie also likes to run & ride her bike (although she's not a nut about it like Merle is) when she can find the time, and also sews and reads a lot. Ben's into coloring, tractors, and the zoo. The whole family likes to be outdoors -- we love to hike, camp, and snowshoe, and are planning to introduce Ben to snowboarding and skiing next year.
