Reflection

Looking back at everything
that we
accomplished Sarah and I realized that together
we went through our ups
and downs and finally passed the finish line to our
goal. We ran the
race together, crashing and falling behind and then speeding up and
flying past everyone else, but together we passed the finish line, and
together we helped a lot of people. Just like our slogan said 'People
are always saying someone should do something about that,
what
they should be saying is I should do something about that, we are!' We
were going to, we were, we did,
In the beginning, Sarah
and I were going on a good slow pace, nnot really doing much but it was
the beginning of the race to come. Soon we panicked, everyone was far
ahead of us, we were too slow and needed to pick up our pace. Sarah and
I were stressed, no hours, no nothing. Finally we dived into the race
and we started to get ready for our bake sales. The first one was a big
one, we had to bake right before the dance so that everything would
still be fresh. Some people were willing to to help us bake and we
thank them for it, it helped a lot. The first one Sarah and I got a
little bored, we were in the race, experiencing action, but then
again... not. Seconds passed, minutes passed, hours passed and it
wasn't like any customers came. However we survived and our next two
bake sales were much more interesting and fun. We sold a lot and made
most of our money from the bake sale during the Girls's Basketball
game. The bake sales during Wednesday were quick and sweet. Little kids
came and stampeded to our table and grabbed, stuffed, and
yelled
to try and get as much food as possible. I was amazed and I think Sarah
was too. We stood there for a while until a kid pushed money into my
hand and scampered off with a cookie. Much more exciting.
For the dog
wash Sarah and I were excited. We both loved dogs, notice the past
tense. Those dogs when they found out what they were getting into,
"shakeen" claws out. One dog in particular, Daisy
was her
name, she was so small yet her claws were one of a kind. She clawed at
every inch of us that she could get. Trouble trouble, However the rest
were all right, if you don't count that fact that they.... 1) clawed
us... 2) jumped out at every possible moment they could find..... 3)
the got us all WET!!!.......4) they were seriously dirty, you should
have seen the BLACK water let me repeat so it sinks in BLACK water.
This is NOT dramatic this is facts..... 5) they didn't even thank us.
Well, still they all have this charm that lured us back into loving
dogs again, after we had cooled down and complained about them to
eachother of course.
Thus we finished the
race, we still are doing our pen pal program and we really hope it will
start soon.
