California Law requires Workplace Sexual Harassment Training

Even the most knowledgeable supervisors and managers, those who have a solid working understanding of what constitutes Sexual Harassment in the workplace, are now deemed insufficiently trained as a matter of law. On January 1, 2005, California Assembly Bill 1825/California Government Code 12950.1, became law. This newly enacted law requires any private employer with 50 or more employees or independent contractors to provide Mandatory Sexual Harassment training and education to their supervisory employees by January 1, 2006. Training must occur every two years and as well as to all new supervisory employees within six months of the assumption of a supervisory position.

TRAINING FORMAT?

Workshops are available in English or Spanish.Workshops are generally limited to approximately 25 participants to ensure a focused, interactive dialogue between the participants and the trainers.
