Snapshots:  Winter '06
New Year's in Minneapolis

We were joined by our college friend Amy and Beau's
cousin Taylor (sometimes mistaken as an Iowa Hawkeye linebacker)  over New Year's.  Here, we're taking a walk along historic Summit Avenue in St. Paul.
In January, we also got to spend time with our friend Angie who was home for a brief period of time in between her work in Pakistan and Indonesia.  We got her all caught up on the more important things in life: bad reality TV programming, trans fat-laden foods and a trip to Mortimer's (pictured at left: Angie, me, Jen and Heidi.)
February!
In February, we spent quite a lot of time driving in the car to Iowa getting schooled on....
                   ...religion....
                   ...architecture....
...The Green Giant, and last but not least....
...the legendary Chase Hurtig free throw!!!
March!
In March, I did my fair share of traveling for work.  While the majority of my client campuses are not particularly great tourist destinations, I did manage to make it to southern California.  At left, I'm soaking in the views (and smog) from atop the Getty Museum in LA; at right, on an LA beach with the boss.

We stayed in the historic Mission Inn in Riverside for a conference (below left), and eventually made it to my client campus, the University of Redlands, to get down to business (below right.)
Continue on to Spring...
