The one world government predicted by the Bible will have a common culture, but one based on humanist principles instead of Biblical principles. Let's consider the basis for it.

Much of the world's philosophy is based on the strongest people dominating the weaker ones and ruling over them as they please. This philosophy is based now on a sociological application of Darwinian evolutionary theory. Mankind has never needed an excuse for conquest, but Darwinian theory put a sophisticated veneer over the basic lust for power and wealth that has so darkened human history.

That this was the justification for the colonization of the areas of the world now referred to as Third World Countries by the European empires seems to escape the liberal elements who promote a one world government whose culture would be based on the same principle. The European conquerors could feel justified in exploiting the "uncivilized" natives and their lands' natural resources as the just due of the superior race. How the conquered peoples felt about it was totally dismissed as irrelevant.

That rage and resentment is still felt today in countries led by peoples who feel that the First World nations like America are to be feared and hated for continuing attempts to dominate the rest of the world both militarily and culturally. Islamic extremists like bin Laden are striking back to replace this domination of the world by their own domination of it. Because so many of the European nations that colonized these peoples were nominally Christian although corrupted by sinful pride in themselves and their military might, Christianity is also hated even though the underlying sinful principle of justified conquest because of pride in the superiority of your race is not Biblically based.

In actuality, this principle is part of the humanist religion developed in part from the misapplication of the scientific principles drawn from fields like Darwinian evolution and psychiatry to interpersonal and international relations. It is seen in the drive by liberal or progressive political movements to dominate national governments and build them into superstates governing every aspect of the citizens' lives while providing for their every need. That this didn't work in the Communist countries while destroying freedom there doesn't seem to have discouraged them. That it doesn't work particularly well in the socialist-leaning liberal governments while curtailing freedom by over-regulation doesn't faze them either.

They want to extend this culture to the entire world for the supposed benefit of all mankind. They believe that it will lead to the fair distribution of wealth, natural resources, and political power throughout mankind, with a just and lasting peace to allow mankind to develop to its fullest potential. They are fully willing to enforce this new world culture with the oppressive military might that a one world government could wield.

The underlying problem with the Darwinian justification of the success of the superior culture is apparent in the animal world. Suppose you put a flock of sheep in a pen with a pride of lions. Things might be fine with that if you are a lion, but what if you are a sheep? The so-called primitive cultures were different from those of the European countries, but not necessarily inferior. They were suited to the lifestyle of a different people in a different environment. When confronted with a better-armed enemy, they were literally devoured. Conquest, murder, enslavement, and theft are hardly the basis for good relations between different groups of people.

That this mindset is still alive and well in the liberal groups striving for the one world government can be seen in miniature in their current social policies governing some of the most basic of human relations. They approve of abortion, even though this ends a young human life, as the empowerment of women. It is a strange lion indeed that devours its own young! A real lioness bears and nurtures her cubs, but these liberal lionesses not only kill their own offspring, but encourage other women to kill their own innocent lambs as well. The most radical of them even encourage the killing of infants born with serious birth defects even after the delivery.

Further, they promote the euthanasia of the elderly and seriously ill rather than allowing them to live out whatever life span they might otherwise have with dignity and decent medical care. They think it quite acceptable, even a social duty, for these helpless sheep to devour themselves. In the Netherlands, people are afraid of going to hospitals for fear that they will be killed against their wills by their own doctor's orders.

One can see the underlying culture of our adversary Satan's world system in this hate-filled disregard for human life. When a person is so filled with pride in himself that he feels he can do anything he pleases to someone else, he is being controlled by the same spirit that caused Satan to lead a third of the heavenly host in a rebellion against God. That started the civil war in the heavens that continues on Earth today. This hellish belief in the superiority of themselves keeps the demonic hosts stirring hatred, murder, and rebellion against anything that smacks of God's love, mercy, and justice. Humans who believe in the same unjustifiable superiority of themselves behave with the same lack of love, mercy, and justice towards others as the Devil and his fallen host do.

To expect more mercy than this from such a culture is suicidal madness. True Christianity never promotes the death of the weaker for the benefit of the stronger. In fact, it stands for the exact opposite. It is this stand for justice, mercy, and love for your fellow man that is in the way of the one world advocates. Freedom-loving Christians are going to stand against their plans to unite the world under a single, powerful government, so they are going to be denounced as divisive, hateful people who must be eliminated.

Before you fall for that line of reasoning, consider who is currently eliminating the weaker people in this world. What will these liberal advocates of the one world government do when the true Christians are gone and they have the political power and the Antichrist to lead them in this new world order? One trembles to think of what will happen to the sheep of the world when the lions are turned loose. What will they do to you if you don't submit to their control?
