| Sun 4th Dec: Went to The Wolds with James & Co. Wasn't quite the only girl there. Mike and I chatted about the stupid things we had both done in Magaluf and the others thought I looked a bit like Drew Barrymore, after they had been going on about how 'fit' she is in 'Charlie's Angels' - I actually blushed and went a bit shy! Ended up watching 'The League of Gentlemen' around Paul's. They are all big fans. In fact I think they are going to see them at the Ice Stadium or something?! Weds 29th Nov: Went out for a nice meal in Beeston at 'The Last Post' with Ros and Vic. I ate loads. Can't believe they had Smirnoff Ice for 99p! No really! Had a really good time actually. Talked about pornography again ;) My fourth night out in a row - making up for my dismal Friday and Saturday evenings. Tues 28th Nov: My worst day in Uni. 5 lectures :( Went to Paul's in the evening. James showed everyone his webbed feet, Stuart showed his psychological prowess with card tricks, Mike got drunk (ish!), and I chatted to Amy and her friend Esther, about how women didn't see pornography in the same way as men. To us it tends to be funny. I was in hysterics most of the night, and following these porn chats, there was speculation among the men as to whether I could suck my own breasts! (Have to try that... ;)) Mon 27th Nov: My mate Apeksha's 21st and we were going to The Pitcher and Piano - where I have never been. My flatmate Dorothee and Bruno were invited and Karine came along too. The bar is a large converted church, and is beautiful and amazing. Bruno suggested I was trying to communicate with God because I was standing in the middle of the room making a total arse of myself by waving my mobile in the air, in an attempt to send a text message. (I managed to snap my aerial last week!). Turned out James was in there too, with his girlfriend Sally, but didn't come and say hello - because he was shy and scared. Big ahhhh!!! Sun 26th Nov: Got up very late, did virtually bugger all work. Felt very guilty. Went out with French and German Society and Karine and Bruno, to a pub called The Three Wheatsheaves. Had a good night. Met some nice people. Was sposed to be speaking French, but I ended up to a nice 4th year engineering student called Dan most of the night. Unfortunately he only had GCSE French, so I ended up in English. He made me laugh when he told his friend he could speak 'un petit pois de francais'. A pea?! Gave him my web address so he may find me. If you do Dan, sign my guestbook! I won't actually be able to go in 2 weeks now. Sat 25th Nov: Went shopping and played badminton. Was winning all the way through, but then lost at the last minute :( I was just too tired. And I was playing a bloke. Against a bloke that is. |
