A couple days ago, Ella and some industry friends, including a younger singer from her company with the same Birthday, celebrated for her 26th. But during the party, she developed stomach pains, so after the cake she was rushed to the hospital. The night after while celebrating with fans, she couldn't help but tear up when seeing reporters. She explained that she regretted not being able to properly greet her friend's the night before. Also, her Birthday wish before was to find a boyfriend and to eat soy chicken, but now she has changed her mind and wishes for good health.
After all this, she went home to rest. But the stomach pains started again and she ended up on the toilet 4 times for 5 hours. Ouch.
July, 13- Ella supports Tang Seung Man
After returning from filming with the Miss. Hong Kong contestants, Ella expressed that she thinks #14 Shermon Tang Seung Man has potential to win the competition. She likes the fact that #14 has a tan just like her and that she has a "sunshine" feel to her. But afterwards, the reporters told Ella that #14 was not a favourite and is a loner from the rest of the contestants causing her to frown a lot. Ella said, "people have said i'm dark too, but no one's ever said i frown a lot."
During yesterdays Roadshow interview, Ella expressed that while studying in England she was a big fan of a soccer star. Not only is he her idol, she would like to get his autograph and a picture together.
July, 14- Ella gathered "red eggs" from fans
A few celebrities including Bernice Liu, Samuel Chan and Ella Koon attended the Fantastic Four movie premier. She said, "Going to the hospital on my Birthday wasn't good, but nothing else besides that can make me sad."
When asked if rumored boyfriend Ron Ng sent her many get well messages Ella said, "after shooting the series we haven't kept in contact, people have just been writing nonsense. The happiest thing about my Birthday was receiving 26 'red eggs' from my fans." (Are you waiting to receive a gift from Ron?) "Why don't you help me find him and bring back his gift for me? Then I'll send over a 'red egg' to TVB for him."
July, 16- [something to do with a bikini]
Ella and Yan accepted a Metro Radio interview yesterday on the show ¤@Óè°¼V. Ella wants to take advantage of the summer and get more of a tan, but she would never dare to wear her bikini. She said, "I have 5 or 6 at home but I'm always worried about my body not being good enough. Earlier I bought a new bikini but I've given up. I know Shirley Yeung Sze Kei has a very good body."
July, 19- Ella keeps checking out the construction workers
Yumiko, Ella and Kenny attended a Worker's Safety event. For her own safety, the usually sexily dressed Ella covered up. They attracted many foreign male construction workers who showed off their biceps, including one who automatically went to Ella and helped her strap on the safety belt. She originally wanted to say the "lower half of the body," meaning legs and such, but instead said something more like "penis".
Reporters later asked Yumiko and Ella about their similar Daytona watches, Ella embarrassingly said, "Actually, my watch is fake. If Yumiko is a friend, she should give me her watch when she¡¦s done with it."
About the construction workers, Ella said that she was quite charmed by them and not embarrassed. She said, "I actually like guys who are manly. I hope my future boyfriend is also manly. Chest hair is fine as well as being robust."
July, 20- Getting boils from playing the guitar
Ella, Ivana and Rachel appeared at Metro Radio's "Night time karaoke music show" press conference. [a pun using her name, but doesn"t make sense in English] "Beware of Ella". She found out she had to play the guitar when she arrived, thus she had to withstand the pain of a broken nail on her left hand from a year ago while playing. She developed course hands and even boils thus she stopped playing. She laughed and said that course hands make it difficult to find a boyfriend. But tonight she'll still apply cream and wrap them in plastic wrap. In the show, Ella will perform with Ryan Hui.
July, 23- Someone called Yan Ng a "baat paw"
Ella and Yan accepted an interview on Metro Radio"s ¤@Óè°¼V program. Yan talked about receiving a phone call where the person was being foul.
Ella talked about someone who inappropriately touched her. She said, "The bus wasn't full of passengers, but a youngster still stood behind me. He used something hard from the lower body to push against me. I immediately got off the bus but he still followed me. So I gave him cut eye until he left."
July, 26- Ella shares her knowledge about recycling
Ella, Cathy Leung, and Don attended a recyclable clothing event. Ella expressed that some jars and similar things can be turned into wearable clothing. After this event, she has learned that many materials can be used twice. Ella also said that she likes to use big trash bags so everything can be thrown out at once.
July, 29- Ella received an "Eat Shit" message
Ella, Cherrie Ying and Bernice attended an event to unveil the new Samsung E568 cell phone. Ella talked about receiving interesting text messages. Because her friends know she isn't very good at reading Chinese, they sent a message with messed up Chinese lettering. It originally looked like an odd word, but when she finally understood it, the message said "Eat Shit". She has also collected ring tones of "bed noises" but she had to quickly turn it off.
