He was the father of one of our founding sisters. He was an inspiration for us to start educating people about ALS. His strengh, generosity, friendship, love, and most of all his wonderful heart and soul will forever live in all of us. He was diagnosed with ALS in January 2000 and passed away in April 2001.He fought a good fight, teaching us about ALS as the illness progressed. In the midst of such a difficult situation he was the one cheering us on, giving us advice about everything and anything. Wonderfull people like him should live forever, but like the poem says "He only takes the best", and without a doubt he was the BEST. Eterna fuente de inspiracion... don Jose Luis se le echa de menos muchisimo, pero seguiremos adelante, lo queremos con toda el alma.
