I am the second owner of this bike and have made a lot of changes since parting with the 105.00 in July 2000. Most of the changes were just to make the bike reliable allthough, they were probably unnecessary. Here's the photo's
This photo was taken shortly after getting rid of the origional, uncomfortable seat for a BSA Bantam sprung front seat, and a sprung rear. A cover plate has been made to protect the electrics, directly under the front seat, and follows the frame contours. The Indian pattern exhaust has also been replaced with a BSA DBD34 'goldie' (and it twitters lovely). Unable to use the bike at night due to the noise though !
Next to be fitted was some new switchgear. Now that the light switches are on the handlebars. The hole left in the headlamp naccell from the origional switch was plugged with a Smiths clock

Front view with the new indicators fitted. The lower fork yolk brace cover has been replaced by a new one i've made to fit snuggly under the headlamp and finished with the Royal enfield logo

Next problem. I decided to fit an Amal carb with a 2.5 " bellmouth. This made the old airbox redundant. To protect the electrics, I made a side panel out of a computer case, and welded a cutout for the bellmouth to fit into to finish it off. to the contours of the frame again.

New side cover fitted and sprayed up, with an Enfield logo laquered on just to finish off. A bit of seat base trim fitted top and bottom to finish it of, and the new Amal installed. Notice the removal of the ignition switch, replaced with an immobilizer, and the hole plugged with an accessory plug. Job done.
