Unfortunately the forum was recently down due to a server upgrade by the host. The thing that is even more unfortunate is it went down on our beloved forum's birthday. But now since the forums are back up we should celebrate!

Some people like our own webmistress have been stressing about the upcoming ZotAwards that most people haven't even thought about the birthday at all! Schwpz stated that, "One thing most users don't seem to be aware of is that PlanetZot was originally meant to be a website about cartoons, in particulary the Disney animated full-lenght features. As you might have noticed, I really love all kinds of cartoons and animations, so it was initially just an attempt to gather all info I had about various cartoons online, the other sections like the forum, the extremely popular eCard service and the davvies are actually just additions to the site. I would never dreamed that the various sections would actually turn out to be just as important and even more popular then the site itself!"

One of PlanetZots first members who is still active, MASTER CHIEF had this to say about how the forum and site have rapidly grown! "When the forum was set up in January 2003, it was your basic PHPBB forum. But over the years it has expanded and improved. I would like to comment on Schwpz's commitment to Planetzot since its birth, she did a wonderful job then and she's doing a wonderful job now." I completely agree with him! Don't you? *lol*

We don't know what kind of party to expect for the birthday but we all know it will be grand! We'll have to party, party, party!!! And for the first annual ZotAwards to mark this birthday it'll be the best one yet! ^.^ I know kOtA agrees with me on that, "THERES NO DOUBT THAT I WILL BE PARTYING!!! ^.^" See! *lol*
