| + The humble are like a stone, it goes down but it�s steady and strong. The proud on the other hand, are like smoke. It goes up and expands, and as it does that it fades and disappears away. + The tree branch which is heavily loaded with fruits, is bowed under the weight it carries, while the empty tree branch is always high up. + A monk said to St.Timothy: - I see my mind is always with God. St.Timothy said: - The best is to see yourself under all the creation. + Somebody asked St.John: - Who is the perfect one in knowledge? St.John answered: - Who thinks that everyone is better than him. + The humility is a gift from The Holy Trinity. It�s the path of the angels, the fire which burns the devils and it�s an unstolen treasure. + My brothers, here is a great secret: God is above all creation. If you boast yourself up high then you�ll not reach Him. But if you�re humble then He will come down to you. + Love humility, because it covers all sins. + Love humility, because it saves you from sin. + First we ought to obtain humility, because it�s the first commandement which our Lord spoke of: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
