Lady's National's 2005

GAME 1 My opponent overlooked an obvious fork on move 15 and then pounded the final nail in her coffin with the move 24. g4, when my queen was already aiming at the weak sqaure g3. Everything went up in smoke after that.

Game 2 But for the grace of God.. Why didn't I take the rook on move 36? (Moves 19-31 are in question since I made errors on my score sheet) 44. .. Ra2 was the crucial tempo I needed to save the game. Had my opponent played Rxc3... it would have been so much harder...for me to try to save the game.

Game 3 My opponent had an oppurtunity to trap my queen and didn't then later blundered a bishop.I'm thinking that I should have played Nf3 then fxe5 to open the file for attack. In retrospect, I didn't have enough pieces to get anything going on the king side.

Game 4 This game was very long. The only thing of note for me here was the fact that I was able to spot the tactical idea in the position enabling me to win a piece.

Game 5 I didn't play as forcefully as I should have. My opponent also help me in the ending by letting me chase her rook around while improving the position of my king.

Game 6 The final game which was drawn. I was thinking at some point I should have played f6 to openlines to the white king since he's a bit drafty.
