This is an example of Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery. The stitches used, (mainly bullion knots) give the three dimensional aspect to the work.
These small pieces of silk ribbon embroidery are encircled by pieces of my own hand made bobbin lace.

The white pin puff was done for a swap on the Silk Ribbon Embroidery internet group of which I am a member. This piece went to a fellow stitcher in the USA. The other pin puffs were made for friends.
