Comments on Revelation, Chapter 5:

The Lion, the Lamb and the Scroll

This chapter introduces the part of Revelation, which predicts disasters of our time and explains their meaning. These disasters are listed in the following chapters 6 - 11 as Seven Seals, which cover a secret scroll. The scroll symbolizes the Biblical message about the hidden meaning of life and the outcome of our stage in history.

The important purpose of Biblical prophecy is to explain to us:

 
  • The causes
  • purpose and
  • outcome
of these disasters. This should save us from getting desperate as things get worse and prepare us for the new era. Not the world but the first stage of human history is now coming to an end with the victory of the Lion of Judah, people who say they are Jews, over descendants of the other "lost" tribes of Israel, who mostly call themselves Christians and Muslims today. For ancient Biblical prophets predicting our time there is no difference between Jews, Christians or Muslims. All of us are the future they predicted for their culture.

Nevertheless the Lion and the Star are symbols of people who nowadays call themselves Jews. In chapter 5 the Lion breaks the Seven Seals and unleashes the Apocalyptic disasters listed in the following chapters, while in chapter 9 the Star opens the deep pit of hell and releases the scourge of war on humanity. In the Torah, Genesis, chapter 49 before his death Jacob had told his sons about the End-times:

 
(8) "Judah, your brothers will celebrate you and bow down to you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies.

(9) You are a lion's cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion crouches and lies down, like a lioness - who dares to wake him up?

(10) Nobody will take away the leading role and the ruler's sceptre from Judah, only the one who will be sent and whom the peoples expect."

With the British Empire under their heraldic Lion Jews began to establish their global predominance. After World War II this Empire was reunited with its American offspring and transformed from a formal political entity to the present situation, where money is the weapon to conquer, corrupt national leaders with incredible wealth and leave the majority of the world population enslaved in abject poverty. After the fall of Communism with power shifting from governments to multinational banks and businesses the Jewish-Anglo-American World Empire has reached the peak of its power. Jews have become God's chosen people to rule the world with money and carry out his purpose in good and in bad until the End of this Age.

The Lion and the fatally wounded lamb break the Seven Seals from the secret scroll: The Jewish-Anglo-American ideology of greed known as "Liberalism" has created a world-order, which triggers the Apocalyptic disasters described in the following chapters, because people reject the teachings of Jesus and other Jewish prophets, on which our culture is based. The idea that Jesus is the Lion of Judah is as absurd as the idea that we are now saved and can sin as much as we like, because Jesus has already paid for our guilt. These traditional church doctrines make no sense and contradict the facts of life, the daily Apocalyptic disasters on the news today. In chapter 6, we will see that the worst disaster, the Sixth Seal comes from the anger of the Lamb and represents God's revenge for the murder of Jesus and other martyrs and a punishment for failing to follow their teachings.
