Constitution Week

Constitution Week will be the week of Sept 17 -23; almost immediately after the first meeting of the Eliza Lucas Pinckney Chapter.  The DAR chapters assist the National Park Service at the Charles Pinckney Historic Site with the Naturalization Ceremony, which will be held this year on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 at 10:30 a.m. 

Two or three volunteers are needed to help with passing out the Preamble of the Constitution bookmarks to the new citizens and should arrive at the park by 9:30 a.m.  This ceremony is most impressive and I hope many of our members will come to observe this event.
