Our puppies are registered, vet checked, wormed, microchipped, pampered and loved! They go to their new homes with a teddy, blanky, food, collar, 'Raising your puppy' booklet and 6 weeks insurance cover.

About Elizalea Poodles
Our dogs are part of the family, live inside with us, and have their own beds.
As a loving pet, a standard poodle is hard to beat. They are happiest hanging around with
the family, and are easy and gentle dogs to live with. They are protective of their home,
but not aggressive. A big bark is enough! Poodles are good with children, although not
recommended with toddlers due to their size and energy. (Mind you, our pups Mitzi and Nero are great baby sitters!)
All our Puppies are raised in a family environment, and are socialized and house trained.
All pups begin basic obedience training at an early age. By the time they go to their new
home they should be able to sit, come, and walk on the lead.
For those wanting an active or working dog, you can't go past one of our pups. These are
farm dogs, raised with livestock. Our dogs stand out in the obedience field, and are great
watch dogs! Britt has an unbeatable instinct for retrieving along with the softest mouth,
and unbelievable agility. Lucy excels at tracking and ball games.
While we welcome International enquiries, we will not export to countries requiring more than 1 week quarantine.

Health Issues.
Standard Poodles are generally a healthy dog. There may be inherited conditions, so it is
recommended that the sire and dam of puppies have a clean bill of health.
At Elizalea, our dogs have been hip scored (tested for hip displaysia), and also tested
for clean skin and normal eyes by fully qualified vets. The sires of our pups are likewise tested.
