| Hitoshi Kawamura is a native of Kyoto, Japan. He was trained as a carpenter in his homeland, first from his father, Shigeyuki Kawamura, who is also a carpenter, and then from Takenori Maeda, a master carpenter in Kyoto. In 1993, he came to Atlanta, and in 1999, he opened Sterling Carpentry, Inc. (named after his son). |
