��� Elizabeth Darrett is a professional singer and actress residing in New York City. �She has always enjoyed combining her gift and love of singing with her abiding faith that God holds her life journey in the palm of His hand. �She has been a performer in her church community as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, she and her family were members of the United Methodist Church.� She has lived in California, Maryland, Connecticut, Upper New York State and New York City.� In her travels she has had the wonderful opportunity to share her love for the Lord through singing with a variety of church communities including Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic, Baptist, Congregational and Reform. �She has also traveled throughout Europe as a soloist with a group of young women singing hymns and spirituals for local church communities. |
| ��� ��������After several years as a music teacher in the Baltimore Public Schools, she returned to graduate school at Syracuse University to receive her Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre.� It was a special thrill for her when she was chosen to sing our National Anthem, "The Star-spangled Banner", at graduation in the 55,000 seat Syracuse Carrier Dome. �After Syracuse, she went to New York City where she has been a professional performer.� She has traveled the United States performing in National Tours, prestigious Regional Theatres, as well as appearing Off-Broadway and at Carnegie Hall. |
