Commentary on: "A New Curse, A New Akane, One Typically Skewed Romance":

1. First and most importantly, this fic started off in response to a challenge, the basis of which is:

Challenge #113: Akane 1/2

What if Akane shared the opposite of Ranma's curse? One of the fiancées, in attempt to remove Akane from race for Ranma splashes her with water from the cursed spring of drowned boy (Shampoo works best here).

I'm not going to give the entirety of the challenge here becuase it is likely to contain spoilers. Besides, my fic may or may not end up meeting all the requirements of the challenge.
Important: I no longer remember where I got this challenge. If anyone knows, so that I may give them proper credit, please tell me.

2. I know Cologne's out of character, and also insane to think that it would work. Oh well. Shampoo was involved, so it works, right? No? Hm, maybe I'll change that. It doesn't matter much (having Cologne involved merely made it easier to mess with Akane's memory), it just needed to happen.

3. Nya nya. I'm thinking to post it on ff.net simply so I can say "Akane/Ranma" in the summary and have all of the A/R fanatics kill me. Nya. I should, too ^_^.
