Commentary on: "Of Alternate Realities and Saving the World":
List form again. This one's not so bad though.
1. You ask (or not): "Where the heck did you get a messed-up
idea like this one?" First of all, thank you if you actually think that this
fic is messed up. I'll give you a little background info to help clear this
up: Whe I first wrote the beginnings of this, it's title was "-1, 1/2, 1:
Don't Ask Me, Ranma!" and the file name was 'don't ask me' which was acually
older than the title. This fic had it's origins in rougly the same conditions
as "The Little Note"; namely, sleep deprivation. But it got fleshed out more
and actually gained a plot *gasp* or resonable facimile thereof, anyway. Yeah.
The title was "Don't ask me" because seriously, I had no idea where it was
coming from. It sat there for quite awhile before I actually decided to write
it out...
2. Chapter Two may give you the idea that there's a chance
for a(nother) Ranma/Ryouga pairing. Hmmm.... perhaps. There's other possibilites
too. Not that I'll spoil anything...
3. I'm thinking of doing interludes, in the form of flashbacks
and/or stories (similar Ran-kun's narration), to tell a few stories about
my newest world. Also, if you're totally lost, I've written up a faq sheet
that contains some spoilers for the newest universe. It's here, in .doc format . It's called "Heptagon FAQ". It gives major background information on the newest world, and actually isn't that bad spoiler-wise, unless you count spoilers for the flashback/stories. It answers questions like: "What's Mousse's story?" "How did Ranma and Kuno end up engaged?" "What happened to Shampoo?" "Who are they up against?", stuff like that. So there will be lots of spoilers for my Interludes. But I leave out anything that really spoils plot for the main story, unless you count hinting at it to be spoilers.

5. I have suddenly decided that I love this fic, and that
it will be very very long (Plot bunny!). Don't think that the whole thing
is just gonna be what's going one right now! But it'll be good, I promise.
Oh yes... and strange, and unusual, but very good.
