Q & A    Home

Many have written asking questions. And although all questions are important, below are a few of the more frequently asked questions.

Q: Why does God allow us to suffer grief?

A: Many have written concerning the difficultly in dealing with grief and loss. Grief is the hardest part of life that we must endure. During a time of crisis, it can seem nearly unbearable and incomprehensible. The idea that there is a God that would allow us to suffer can be impossible to imagine or accept. It can be so difficult to understand why we must suffer such pain or why a God would force us to endure this. It is difficult to try and explain, but even more so for the one who is suffering.

The pain is normal and unfortunately unavoidable. These feelings are intense and can also feel physically gut wrenching and unending. We are here to learn and develop in human flesh. But all living things and beings die. Death of our flesh is unavoidable. All of us will die. But what is most important is Life After Death. It is a fact for many. We will see our loved ones again! We are born again and we will never feel death again. In this new life, we will never suffer or know hunger. This is why Jesus said to Mary and his mother not to cry for him, but to cry for themselves. He knew he was going to his Fathers Kingdom and they had to remain. He knew how cruel this world could be and how awful we can treat one another.

This is why we must do the best we can while we are in our flesh. So we, too, will ascend and live in His Kingdom one day. Turning to God for comfort does help. He hears our prayers and will comfort us. Perhaps not in the way we requested, but in the way that we need it to be. His way and plan are always correct. We need to be open to all that is around us and we must trust him. My sincere sympathy goes out to all who are suffering from grief and loss, may God Bless You and bring you comfort.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matt 5:4

Q: Why do the poor suffer so much?

A: It is sad and very wrong that anyone goes to bed hungry, especially in a world that could certainly feed all. It is estimated in even one country alone, more than many times the amount of food needed is grown every year. It is sad that anyone has to suffer from such poverty and despair in a world that is rich.

There are neglected countries such as Africa or other third world countries where people have known suffering their entire life. Even the ability to go to school is such a great privilege and can be the difference between whether one eats that day or not. This should sadden all and should never be brushed under the rug or ignored as though it is not our problem. We should not become dulled from the worlds hunger problem. For those who live in wealthy countries, instead of ignoring their plight, should realize how very lucky we are and to help in any way we can- regardless of how small or big. Every person matters and everything we do counts. Most do not realize that it takes less than $20 dollars to send one child to school for the entire year in Africa. AIDS is out of control, yet medication is within affordable reach.

But we should never blame God. Poverty is not Gods fault. Through our own free-will we have the power in us to eliminate hunger forever throughout the world. We must always do our best to help in any way we can. God has not turned his back on the poor nor will these atrocities ever go ignored. Their suffering is not in vain, overlooked, or belittled, but weighed substantially. All things are truly made correct in The Kingdom of Heaven. It is the true meaning behind those who are first will be last, and those who are last will be first. There is no doubt that the poor and suffering are given much in Heaven; they are never forgotten by God. Never.

Q: Do people die before their time?

A: For most, it is their time when one dies in flesh. Jesus reminds us that only The Father knows when it is ones time. However, there are some who die prematurely, perhaps never being able to finish their very own purpose in life. Between the two, could be the very reason why our prayers are not always answered in our favor when we pray so desperately for the life of a loved one. Their passing could truly mean it is their time. Gods will is correct and we should try to trust him, no matter how difficult life can become.

Our physical bodies are not unending, therefore without flaws and defects such as diseases, illnesses, accidents- or by the hand of another. Many variables can influence our life. God intervening is weighed greatly and carefully. Without this, what would be the purpose of life in flesh? There would be no free-will or the ability to decide between right or wrong. We could never develop freely and independently. It is the truth behind the wheat and the tares. We decide.

God knows we are not perfect, but wants us to do the best we can. When we make mistakes, we need to turn to him for forgiveness, and then try again. When it comes to His Kingdom, we must ask him for forgiveness. The reason is because it is His Kingdom that we have been so kindly invited to. He doesnt make us come, but he invites us. His rules, not mans- and it is his righteousness and correctness that makes His Kingdom so worth it. Again, we decide.

Q: If Jesus was God in flesh, why did he always refer to himself as Son of man?

A: He was both. He was the incarnation of God The Father and born of flesh. It is important that we understand that Jesus was also a man. Because He was sinless, yet a man, He proved that we could live in decency.

May God be with you- Elizabeth
