Good Friday and Easter Sunday

Good Friday and Easter Sunday are the holiest days of the year. Good Friday represents the brutal, enormous sacrifice that Jesus bore, of his own will, for our sakes. He literally saved us from ourselves. Out of The Fathers great Love for mankind, He gave of his only sons sinless human life against the weight of our sins. He truly was the ransom. What followed was the gift of Forgiveness, only second to Love, for all sins of those who reached for God. This was part of Gods consistent correct plan, a plan that clearly differentiates between good and evil. The burden of Jesus selfless sacrifice gave way to all sinners to repent, so we, too, could have eternal life with God in The Kingdom of Heaven- to our last breath.

Easter represents the absolute confirmation behind the words that Jesus of Nazareth spoke and taught. It was proof that He truly was indeed the way, the truth, and the life. His teachings were the truth. He was the bread of life. These words were food and the way to eternal life. As is the day of his birth, it is a celebration. A celebration that our Lord has risen! Rejoice! For He lives! Rejoice! For He offers us eternal life with him in paradise! Rejoice! For all things are made correct in His Kingdom! Rejoice! For He forgives us of all sins! Rejoice! For those who suffer from grief and loss will see their loved ones again! Rejoice! As He lives, so will we live! Its enormous meaning is of an immeasurable significance. It proved his physical death was not in vain. He truly lives!

Let us reflect, pray, and give thanks. We thank you Jesus that you made this incredible selfless sacrifice for our sakes. We humbly and gratefully thank you. Thank you for Loving us so much. Thank you for Forgiving us. Thank you for hearing us. Thank you for eternal life and for your invitation to your Kingdom.

But mostly, thank you for never, ever giving up on us. We love you with our hearts, mind, and soul. Your Word is first, last- and the Only Word. You are my Lord and my God. We thank you for making all things possible. May your will be done. Blessed is He- the Lamb of God. May God be with you.

for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world (John 17:24)
Before Abraham was, I am (John 8:58)
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (Rev 1:8, Gen 1:1)
Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matt 5:4)
It is finished. (John 19:30)

Oh Yeshua!
Oh Lord!

What hast we done
to merit such blessings?
We humbly inquire thou
Even so, we give great thanks.

In Christ, Amen.
