| The numismatic history during the reign of Elizabeth I is very interesting. Quite a varied coinage was created, from small silver pieces to large gold. Experiments in milled coinage also took place. Considering the subject they had to work with, som beautiful coins were created. Through her long reign from 1558 to 1602 several coinages took place. Below is an attempt to show some of the variety of this reign. | ||||||||||||
