Managing Priorities

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth." - Ecclesiates 12:1 NIV

Managing school, sports, activities, and maybe even a part-time job can feel exhausting. Each day brings a set of problems to solve and expectations to meet. In the middle of a busy season, it is easy to feel like we are alone, that no one can possibly understand the strain and stress we are under. We want to live a life well for God but at the end of the day we feel drained with nothing else to give.

There is only so much we can handle in one day. God understands that. But he asks us to put him first. When that priority is set, the others just fall into place. As we do the other things throughout our day, he'll renew and refresh us. When we feel depleted, he supports us.

God, thank you that when life seems like too much, you are there to help me face another day. Remind me to put you first and depend more on you and less on my abilities and strength.
