All You Have

Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." - 1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT

Cutting corners usually seems like the easiest way out of a boring task or chore. If our hearts aren't in something, our efforts and energy can be hard to achieve if what we're doing is tiring, boring, or seems like a waste of time. "Is it really worth the work?" We might wonder.

Sticking to something you're not particularly excited about builds strong character. And whenever you do something, even if it's small and seemingly unimportant, treat it as if you are doing it for the Lord. Just pleasing the Lord can be a reward. When you're faithful in small things, it shows the Lord and others that you can be trusted with big things.

God, when I am tempted to be lazy and careless with a project, please redirect my heart. Help me to finish every single task well. I want to honor you every day in everything I do.
