With a loud bang and a flash of blue, green, and white pyro, the EWI Collision is on the air. The Collision theme song, Creed's "Bullets", blares over the loudspaker as the arena is packed with several thousand rabid wrestling fans, waving signs and banners and cheering as loud as they can throughout the impressive opening display. As the noise dies down and the smoke begins to clear, the faces of play-by-play announcer Mike Morris and color commentator Adam Kogler, who are at ringside to call the night's action, appears on the video screen and televisions across the continent.

Kogler: Welcome, one and all, to EWI Collision! I am the Greatest Mind in Wrestling, Adam Kogler, sitting next to my old pal, Blake- hey, who the hell are you, and what have you done with Underwood? Or did he get the axe already?

Morris: Uh, I'm Mike Morris. I'm here 'cause Blake Underwood is on assignment. It's truly an honor to be here in this seat! All my life I've...........

Kogler: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's great Matt; I didn't ask for your life story. That's right fans, it's me and my new sidekick, Mike Mor-ron, bringing you one hell of a card here tonight on Collision! We've got the Universal Champ in action, a number one contender's match for that very Title, and lots more! What's up first there, Mark?

Morris: Ummm.....let me see.....oh yeah! First up we've got Walter "The Assassin" Placer, who is coming off an impressive win against Benjamin Childs last week against EWI newcomer, Death. He had an impressive career in the old MMP, and now he brings his stuff to the EWI! Let's get straight to the action.

Walter "The Assassin" Placer
with Caitlin Valentine
~VS.~
Death
with Q

*****

As Placer waited in the ring, "Hate Me Now" began to play. Q was the first to appear at the entrance way, wearing a three-piece suit. Death soon follows after. The two made their way to the ring and Q demanded a microphone.

Q: "Assassin, you will be the first to experience what this man, this beast, this wrestler will be all about in the EWI. A combination of speed and power, and at 6 foot 9, 298 pounds, there's a whole lot wrestlers like you will have to worry about. Assassin, meet the new wave of wrestling. Assassin.......meet......DEATH!!!"

Death charged the Assasin and hit a knee to the gut, followed by a quick one-arm DDT. He picked Placer up and put him in the corner, nailing several shots to his gut before taking him out to the middle of the ring with a bulldog. He then climbed to the second rope and came off with a legdrop. He then picked Placer up and hit a full-nelson slam. Moving quickly, Death picked up Placer and hit a belly-to-belly suplex, followed by a piledriver. He then picked Placer up once more and delivered the Death Drop, pinning the Assassin for the win.

Kogler: Wow! It's been awhile since we've seen Death in a wrestling ring, but it looks like he hasn't missed a beat. He was one guy in a sea of mediocrity that I always thought would give Twisted Steel some decent competition for the MMP Universal Title, but as we all know, Steel is past history! Death is back and seemingly as good as ever, and I think the rest of the EWI would do well to take notice!

Morris: I agree, Adam! Gee, it's great to be here! Next up we've got two more newcomers going head to head in Captain Insanity and Larry Mental. It'll be interesting to see who can make their immediate impact in the EWI in their first appearance. Let's go to the action.

Captain Insanity
~VS.~
Larry Mental
with Eddy O

*****

As Captain Insanity waited in the ring, "Orraglo" by Nonpiont blared over the PA system. Huge fireworks exploded, and out walked Larry Mental, dressed in a red silk robe and accompanied by his manager, Eddy O. They approached the ring and Eddy O took off Mental's robe and gave him a microphone.

Mental: "Hello!! EWI I know it's great to see me, I promise you that I will live up to your expectations. Are you ready?!

The crowd boos heavily at this.

Mental: Yeah, well screw you, then.

Larry Mental freaked out, and pushed a sound guy to the floor, taking his chair. He entered the ring with it and charged Captain Insanity. Just as he was about to swing, the referee took the chair from him, reprimanded him, and sounded the bell. Insanity and Mental locked up, and Insanity immediately hit a surprise suplex. Mental got up immediately as Insanity charged him right away. Mental, however, was ready and hit a backdrop that sent Insanity to the mat. Mental followed up by delivering several punches to Insanity. Mental picked him up, and attempted to send Insanity into the ropes, but the SWA veteran reversed it and hit a backdrop of his own as Mental came off the ropes, followed right away by an elbow to the chest. Insanity pulled Mental up and tossed him into the ropes. As Mental came off, Insanity nailed a spear tackle. He picked Mental up again and bounced off the ropes, attempting another spear tackle, but this time Mental grabbed his assailant by the head, reversing it into a DDT. Mental immediately picked Insanity up and hit a sidewalk slam. Mental then faced the crowd, taunting their boos towards him. This gave Insanity the time he needed to recuperate. As Mental taunted the fans, Insanity climbed to the top turnbuckle. When Mental turned around he was met with a flying clothesline. Insanity then nailed a vertical suplex. Moving quickly, Insanity picked Mental up and hit the Insanity Bomb. He quickly pinned Mental as the referee counted the 1....2....3.

Kogler: How do I get stuck with this? Your first week on the job, and the second match that's trotted out here are two nutjobs that are screwed up in entirely different ways, yet seemingly proud of it. Not a good start Mortis; you'd better shape up if you want to stay out here at my table!

Morris: Huh? What did I do? I think I'm doing a good job! I'm the one with the exclusive Cult interviews! I'm Mike Morris, dammit! Oh, wait! Daron Manners and Mikhail Androsovich are up next. This supposedly will be Androsovich's last match in the EWI, so let's see if he can go out with a bang.

Mikhail Androsovich
~VS.~
Daron Manners

*****

As Androsovich waited in the ring, "Days of The Phoenix" by AFI played over the loudspeakers as Daron Manners made his way down to the ring, handing an EWI t-shirt to a young fan along the way. As Manners got into the ring and faced the Russian, the two exchanged a handshake as the crowd chanted "Don't Leave!", apparantly in reference to this being Androsovich's last match. The two locked up and Manners started off by applying a headlock. Androsovich shoved Manners off of him, however, and tossed him into the ropes. As Manners came off, Mikhail hit a fireman's takedown. Manners shot to his feet but was quickly met with a boot from Mikhail. Mikhail hit a few punches, but Manners fought back with a few punches of his own to the professor's gut, followed by a swinging neckbreaker. He then picked Mikhail up, but Mikhail reacted quickly, hitting a spinning jump kick, which caused Manners to stumble into the ropes and get caught. Being a good sportsman, Mikhail freed Manners. Manners attempted a kick to the Russian's gut, but Mikhail grabbed it and swept the other foot, moving things quickly into a figure-four leglock. Manners struggled and eventually was able to flip his opponent over and reverse the hold. Mikhail was quick to get to the ropes, however, and break the hold. Both men got up at the same time, and Mikhail swung at Manners, who sidestepped it and hit a suplex. Just then, Larry Mental ran to the ring with a cane, hitting both Mikhail and Manners in the head with the object. Mental then hit a brainbuster on Manners. Mikhail got up and began struggling with Mental, eventually applying a sleeper hold on the interjector. Manners then got up and hit Mental in the head with the cane. A bloodied Mental then left the ring and to the back. Mikhail and Manners locked up again, this time with Mikhail getting the advantage with a kneelift followed by a fisherman's suplex. He then sent Manners into the turnbuckles. Manners bounced off and hit the mat. Mikhail, meanwhile, climbed to the top turnbuckle. Still dazed from the attack, however, this took him some time. This gave Manners the time he needed to get up and grab Mikhail. He fought off the Russian with several punches and then pulled him off the top rope with a superplex. Manners quickly floated over and hooked Androsovich's leg for the pin. Androsovich struggled mightily but Manners held on, getting the shocking pinfall victory.

Kogler: I don't believe this. I've been saying nothing but good things about Doctor Mickey for the last several weeks, and here he goes and loses to a guy who belongs in a rubber room somewhere with Captain Insanity and Larry Mental? I'd say that's one hell of an upset we just saw; how about you, Morton?

Morris: I think so, too, Kroger.....I mean Kogler! This has to be one of the biggest upsets to date here in the EWI! But now we have a big match to decide the number-one contendership to the Universal Title. It's Benjamin Childs going up against "Black Jack" McBain. Lets go to the action.

Black Jack McBain
~VS.~
Benjamin Childs
with Zane

*****

After BlackJack McBain had made his way to the ring, the lights dimmed as a white spotlight led Benjamin Childs to the ring, flanked by an entourage of Cult minions, most notably the gigantic Zane. After discarding his cloak, Benjamin rushed McBain to start the match, but was taken down with a legsweep. BlackJack jumped on Childs, mounting him and delivering a flurry of punches before rolling to a neutral corner. Childs quickly got to his feet and charged again, with McBain this time going for an armdrag. The larger Childs blocked it and countered with an armbar, drove an elbow into BlackJack's back, then bounced off the ropes and planted his opponent with a big boot. With no wasted motion, Childs bounced off the opposite ropes and came off with a huge jumping legdrop, which garnered a two count from the official. Benjamin lifted up McBain by the throat, evidently preparing for a chokeslam, but was countered by a kick to the outer side of the knee from McBain, then another, and one more that broke Childs' grip. BlackJack continued his offense with some hard shots to the ribs, then finished with a spinning elbow to the back of Benjamin's head, staggering the big man. McBain ran off the ropes and flew at Childs, only to be taken over with a powerslam, that got another two count. Childs hoisted up McBain and prepped him for a suplex. BlackJack resourcefully turned it into an inside cradle that got 1 .. 2 before Childs powered out. McBain jumped at Childs with several hard rights, then went for a neckbreaker, but was shoved off the ropes and met with a two-handed chokeslam from Childs upon his return. McBain slowly pulled himself up using the ropes in the corner, but Benjamin was quick to advance. He lifted BlackJack by the throat once again, this time climbing the turnbuckles while placing his adversary on top. As the referee broke in to stop the choke, Benjamin went for a superplex, but McBain hit a low blow out of sight of the referee, then brought Benjamin off the turnbuckles with a tornado bulldog! McBain scurried on top of Childs to score a three count before Benjamin was able to get a shoulder up. A battered but victorious BlackJack McBain rolled out of the ring and slowly made his way to the back as Benjamin glared down the aisle from his knees.

Kogler: There you have it, BlackJack McBain is the number one contender for the Universal Title! Benji's been in a bit of a funk lately it would seem, he's going to have to kick it into a higher gear in the coming weeks if he wants to go anywhere! And speaking of the Universal Title, isn't fat boy himself up next?

Morris: Yes, he is.....hey, wait! Heavy D is cool! He's gotta big match in front of him in The Prophet, though. This mysterious newcomer is making big waves here in the EWI in just a few short weeks. Let's see what develops.

EWI Universal Champion
Heavy D
~VS.~
The Prophet

*****

"Trina Moe" roared over the speakers as a darkened arena was illuminated by a smattering of blue and red fireworks. Heavy D stepped out from the back with the EWI Universal Title wrapped around his massive waist to a thunderous ovation. Heavy D stepped over the top rope and struck a pose as flashbulbs went off around the arena. As Heavy D removed his Title belt, "Clubbed To Death" replaced Heavy D's music as the arena again faded to black, the only thing visible being The Prophet's entrance video. As the lights returned, The Prophet appeared behind the Universal Champion and stared straight ahead for a brief moment, before taking him over with a half-nelson suplex to kick off the non-title match. Heavy D quickly tried to get to his feet, but was met with a sharp boot to the head. Prophet picked up D by the hair before taking him right back down with a jawbreaker. As Heavy D shot up, he was whipped into the ropes, but exploded off with a flying forearm that took the big Prophet down. Prophet didn't stay down for long, but was taken over by a fireman's carry from Heavy D. D grabbed The Prophet's leg and locked in an anklelock, then turned it into a single leg crab. The Prophet was close to the ropes and forced a break, so D picked him up and continued his offense. Heavy D whipped Prophet into the ropes, Prohpet reversed, then took over the Universal Champ with a hard knee to the gut. After pausing to laugh to himself, Prophet whipped Heavy D into the corner and ran at him with an avalanche. As Heavy D stumbled out, he was tossed between the ropes as The Prophet followed. Heavy D was whipped, but reversed, sending The Prophet hard into the barricade. Heavy D then ran in with a clothesline, taking both men over. The two men exchanged punched amongst the fans, with Heavy D getting the eventual advantage with a Ghetto Punch that sent Prophet back over the guardrail. Heavy D stepped over himself, but was grabbed and flung headfirst into the steel steps by The Prophet, who then crawled back into the ring as the referee began his count. At about 8, Heavy D made it back in, but was covered immediately for a 2 count. The Prophet got D in position for a pumphandle slam, but turned it into a backbreaker and went for another cover, getting 2. Prophet sent the Champion into the ropes and took him over with a swinging chokeslam, but could only manage another 2 count before Heavy D got a shoulder up. The Prophet seemed to sense that he would have to go for it all, as he dragged Heavy D to the turnbuckles and slowly placed him on top. After drawing boos from the crowd by extending his fists and slowly turning his thumbs down, The Prophet readied for his finisher. However, before he can nail it, Heavy D responded with a headbutt that popped the crowd, then another Ghetto Punch that sent Prophet flying backwards off the turnbuckles! Heavy D hopped down as The Prophet attempted to get to his feet. Prophet was whipped into the ropes, then blasted down with a sidewalk slam. D pulled him up and whipped him into the turnbuckles, Prophet reversed, but was met with a swinging elbow after he ran in. Seizing the opportunity, Heavy D used all of his strength and lifted up The Prophet, then brought him crashing down with a chokeslam. Both men lied on the mat as the ref began to count, but Heavy D was the first to his feet. He nailed a flurry of punches to keep The Prophet down, then ascended the turnbuckles. As the fans roared with approval, the arena lights flickered as a piercing rattle shook through the arena, causing Heavy D to lose his balance. Quickly, The Prophet rose and climbed the turnbuckles, and delivered The Prophecy! The Prophet fell onto D and glared down into the man's eyes as the ref counted to three. The arena lights now faded completely after the bell rang and The Prophet's hand was raised from the canvas, but this time, The Prophet was nowhere to be seen when the lights returned; instead, Benjamin Childs stood over the now bloodied Universal Champion holding a microphone and a barbed wire chair!

Childs: "Heavily Delusional. I told you that if you did not grant me my title shot that I would stake my revenge. Yet you seemed to disregard my statement as if I were joking. Then earlier tonight I warned you again that by the time you hear the rattle it is too late but you did not heed my warning and now you lay there in the middle of the ring that you said I was not worthy being in. Yet it is I that stand atop you while you bleed. Maybe next time when I challenge you you will treat my generous offer with more respect. You have set the beginning of the end in motion, all the blood that is spilt from hence forth will be on your head."

With that, Benjamin lifted up Heavy D and hooked him in a full nelson, before driving him face first into the barbed wire-wrapped chair. As Benjamin began to leave the ring, he stopped and turned back, picking up the mic he had dropped.

Childs: "You shall endure the 'Ultimate Sacrifice'"

Childs placed the barbed wire chair on top of Heavy D's forehead, then climbed the turnbuckles and came offd with a diving headbutt, a move he calls the Ultimate Sacrifice. The headbutt caused Heavy D to bleed even more profusely, and it busted Childs open as well. Benjamin simply licked the stream of blood that ran down his face as he stared at down at Heavy D with a demonic gaze as the scene faded to black.
