With a loud bang and a flash of blue, green, and white pyro, the EWI Collision is on the air. The Collision theme song, Creed's "Bullets", blares over the loudspaker as the arena is packed with several thousand rabid wrestling fans, waving signs and banners and cheering as loud as they can throughout the impressive opening display. As the noise dies down and the smoke begins to clear, the faces of play-by-play announcer Blake Underwood and color commentator Adam Kogler, his forehead bandaged from his match last week, who are at ringside to call the night's action, appears on the video screen and televisions across the continent.

Before Underwood could begin his introductions, "Bomb First" by Makaveli blasted over the speakers as Rukuss walked down to the ring with a mic in hand to a chorus of boos. He stepped over the top rope and raised his arms to the boos of the thousands in attendence. He held the mic up to his mouth and waited for the boos to die down.

Rukuss: Judging from my actions lately, you're all in awe; you don't know what to expect. That goes for the entire Roster of the EWI...I am one man you don't wanna fuck with.

The crowd boos yet again for the traitor.

Rukuss: Adam...it seems lately i have been on a losing streak...and that dumb idiot Underwood blames it on you. Well let me tell ya something buddy, Thursday night that will all change, as i put this baby on the line against Heavy D!

He lifted his shirt up and revealed the universal championship belt.

Rukuss: That's right! Twisted Steel and Rukuss are both the best damn wrestlers in the EWI, and I think everyone in this damn building can agree. Heavy D... it all comes down to Thursday night. You've been saying about making me feel more pain than ever, and how you are the best in the biz. Well FUCK that! It's my God damn time to be the best! Come our match, I will show you that I am the best! When I put you through the table and pin you, you're gonna wish you never fucked around with Rukuss. And another thing-

Suddenly "Trina Moe" by DMX blasted over the speakers, as the crowd cheered heavily for the man they expect. Rukuss dropped the mic behind him and walked over to the ropes facing the walkway, inviting Heavy D to the ring. What Rukuss didn't know was that Heavy D was coming through the crowd! Heavy D hopped over the top rope and picked up the mic. Still behind Rukuss, Heavy D spoke:

Heavy D: You really think you got what it takes?

Rukuss slowly turned around and, with a look of fear on his face, saw Heavy D. Heavy D continued.

Heavy D: Rukuss Rukuss Rukuss...tsk tsk. If you were really going to be a traitor to the fans..to me...did you really have to join Kogler's Klan of Losers?

The crowd cheered the remark.

Heavy D: You really think Kogler likes you? Look at him! He's so damn short, scrawny, and has A.D.D. Do you really think he's interested in your "talents"? He's just using you, because he knows that that's the only way he could get to me - through you. You know better than that man. I don't care if you still hate me, but think it over. Kogler doesn't give a rat's ass about you. As soon as you LOSE Thursday night, he's just gonna dump you like yesterday's garbage.

Rukuss then took the mic:

Rukuss: Well...maybe your right D...it's possible.

Rukuss' expression of fear turned to a smaile as Heavy D turned around only to eat a crowbar to the face from Twisted Steel! The crowbar cut Heavy D across his eye. Steel then kicked him out of the ring.

Rukuss: Are you so sure of yourself, D? You think Kogler and Steel would do this for anyone? They know I am the better, and i will prove it Thursday night.

Rukuss threw the mic at Heavy D as he wallowed in pain. EMTs hurried out to check on the real universal champion as Rukuss walked out of the ring.

Kogler: Is it me Underwood, or does Heavy D get stupider by the week? It never fails to bring a smile to my face every time that fat piece of crap get exactly what he deserves. Do you see why I recognize Rukuss as the REAL Universal Champion? Join me Blake my man, or else you'll look quite the fool when Rukuss destroys Heavy D once again at Destiny!

Underwood: Certainly a lively way to kick things off tonight at Destiny; hello everybody I'm Blake Underwood alongside Adam Kogler. And what in the world is the matter with Rukuss? No one is buying his universal champion routine, and the fact that he's got Twisted Steel helping him run sneak attack jobs doesn't change any of that. I for one can't wait until Destiny when Heavy D finally gets his hands on that backstabber and sets the record straight. Things are already off and running here at Collision and we're not going to stop, we've got three big matches on tap tonight and we'll kick things off with the EWI debut of Charles Childs.

Charles Childs
~VS.~
Punisher

*****

Following the introduction of Punisher to a mixed reaction from the crowd, "Black Dog" began to play as two men in black suits made their way out onto the stage. They were soon followed by Charles Childs, the brother of Cult member Benjamin Childs, dressed in a blue satin robe. He stopped in the middle of the stage and dropped to one knee, spreading his arms out wide in an arrogant pose before strolling down to the ring, hopping up to the apron, and flipping over the top rope. Charles started with the trash talk right away, shouting insults at Punisher from across the ring until he finally goaded Punisher into charging at him. Childs easily side-stepped the charge and dropped his opponent with a drop toehold, which he quickly rolled over into a modified STF. He only kept the hold applied for a moment before releasing the leg and focusing more on the headlock. Keeping a tight grip on his opponet Childs used the headlock to control Punisher up to his feet, allowing him to spin quickly and bring Punisher right back down with a neckbreaker. Childs backed off and gloated over his early successes as Punisher struggled to his feet, but once his opponent was up Childs shot back in with a superkick that knocked Punisher over the top rope and out to the floor. As Punisher got to his feet on the outside he was met with a flying body attack that took him right back down, and Childs quickly rolled his opponent back inside. Punisher just was not able to catch a break as Charles Childs was all over him, pulling him up right away back inside the ring and hooking him for an inverted DDT. Rather than drive Punisher to the canvas, though, Childs dropped down to one knee, driving the back of Punisher's neck into his other knee. He then stood Punisher up again and this time dropped him all the way down with a diving reverse DDT. After dropping two elbows to the back of Punisher's neck Childs stood arrogantly above his opponent for a moment before pulling him up and delivering the Bite of the Dog! Rather than go for a cover, though, Childs locked on his submission finisher, the Black Dog, to which Punisher quickly surrendered. The referee called for the bell, awarding Charles Childs a victory in his first EWI match.

Underwood: Charles Childs picks up the victory in a very one-sided affair here at Collision. You know these men better than I do, Adam, but I have to say I'm surprised that Punisher didn't pose more of a challenge for Childs tonight.

Kogler: I've seen these men duke it out several times in the past, but this time around, it was all Charlie. He still has a long way to go to pull himself out of Benji's shadow, but as people such as Twisted Steel and myself are well aware of, winning never hurts! I guess my expert managerial skills can only take you so far once you leave the Kogler flock!

Underwood: Folks I understand we've got an update on the condition of the universal champion Heavy D after the assault from Twisted Steel and Rukuss at the beginning of the show. Steve Lewin is standing by backstage...Steve, are you there?

Lewin: I'm here Blake, and I'm about to get word on the condition of Heavy D. With me here is doctor James Lamb. Dr. Lamb, how is Heavy D doing?

Dr. Lamb: Well, from what I have seen, he is going to have a scar running from his eyebrow all the way to his cheek as a result of the shot from the crowbar. His vision is slightly impaired. Frankly, he's lucky to still have use of both eyes. We're confident he will regain his vision, but when that will be is unknown at this time.

Lewin: I'm sure the fans are all concerned about Heavy D, but the most pressing matter is will he be able to compete Thursday night at Destiny?

Dr. Lamb: As of right now, I wouldn't recommend it.

Just then Heavy D came walking out of a nearby room. He had a bandage over his eye, and shot glances back and forth between the two men talking and the camera. He tightened his red and white bandana and walked away while making punching motions in the air.

Kogler: You want my opinion, Woody? I think Tubby D should just sit this one out, forfeit the match at Destiny, and admit that Rukuss is far more talented than he is, as well as a better Universal Champion. Is that too much to ask?

Underwood: That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you ask me, Twisted Steel and Rukuss should both be fined and suspended for their actions tonight. Wrestling is one thing, but when you put a man in a position where he could have vision loss in one eye, that's really taking things too far. Hopefully Heavy D will not end up with any permanent damage and will be able to get on with his career. Coming up next we've got our second debut match of the evening. We've already seen Charles Childs make a very impressive debut, picking up a decisive win over Punisher. We're now about to see Daron Manners, who made his first appearance last week interrupting the Teddy Terror/Pitch Black match, in his in-ring debut taking on Pitch Black, who will no doubt be looking for revenge after what happened a week ago.

Pitch Black
with Blinding Light

Daron Manners

*****

"Days of the Phoenix" by AFI began to play over the loudspeakers. A small set of fireworks went off at the entranceway, and soon after came the EWI newcomer, Daron Manners. Jogging down the aisleway, Manner high-fived the fans as he went. He soon got into the ring and faced the entranceway, awaiting his opponent. The lights soon went out, and Metallica's "My Friend of Misey" began to softly play over the loudspeakers. When the lights went on, however, all soon saw that Pitch Black was already in the ring, behind Manners, with his friend Blinding Light on the outside of the ring. Manners turned around and saw Pitch. The two men charged each other right away and, fired up about his EWI debut, Manners got the upperhand, knocking Pitch back into the turnbuckles. Manners charged in right after, but Pitch raised himself on the ropes and delivered a kick to Manners' face. Manners staggered back, and Pitch Black followed with a series of knife-edge chops to his opponent's chest, that backed the newcomer into the opposite turnbuckle. Pitch hit a kneelift to Manners' midsection before stepping back and removing his trenchcoat, tossing it to the outside and into the waiting arms of Blinding Light, who had a look of concern on his face. This gave Manners an opening, and he took full advantage, coming out of the corner and nailing a few punches to Pitch's face before stepping behind him and sending him sternum-first into the turnbuckles. Manners quickly followed up with a kick to Pitch's throat. He then dragged Pitch Black out into the center of the ring and lifted him up in a suplex. Pitch blocked the move with several punches to the ribs however, and reversed the move, hitting Manners with a face-first suplex. Pitch then lifted Manners up, and sent him right back down with a DDT. Lifting Manners up once more, Pitch went for a superkick, but Manners ducked and moved behind the man with the painted face, and hit a falling neckbreaker. Manners then quickly applied an ankle lock, but Pitch managed to get to the ropes, forcing Manners to release the hold. Manners waited for Pitch to get up, and then charged, but Black was ready for him, ducking and flipping Manners over the top rope to the outside. Pitch followed quickly, and grabbed a chair. He motioned to the audience a bit before rearing back to swing the chair, but this gave Manners the opening he needed. Before Pitch could connect, Manners kicked Pitch Black in the gut, forcing him to drop the chair. Manners followed quickly, hitting a rocker dropper, sending Pitch face-first into the chair! Just then, an obviously ill old man of about 60 years jumped in front of the camera, yelling "Look! I'm on TV!" Manners quickly ushered the man away, and sent his attention back to Pitch Black. This lasted quite a while, however, and it gave Pitch time to recover from the move. As Manners moved in, Pitch punched Manners in the ribs a few times before rolling him into the ring. Pitch Black followed him in, but still weak, Pitch collapsed once in the ring. Manners was able to get up and climb to the top rope. Manners leapt off, attempting a legdrop, but Pitch managed to move out of the way, sending Manners hard into the mat. Summoning all of his remaining energy, Pitch grabbed Manners and lifted him up in a suplex, holding it a while and then spinning 360 degrees and turning the move into a powerbomb! Pitch Black made the cover and got the 1...2...3 for the win. Exhausted, Pitch was helped to his feet by Blinding Light. Once recovered, Pitch went to the outside. Meanwhile, Manners had got to his feet and took off through the crowd, in the direction of the old man from before. Blinding Light and Pitch Black then went towards the back. When they were halfway up the aisle, the lights went out. When they came back on, Pitch Black and Blinding Light were nowhere to be seen.

Kogler: .....huh? Whazzat? Match is over? About time. I guess Pitch Black must be pretty proud that he finally scraped up a victory, but come on - Daron Manners? I'm Harvey Etiquette. Where do you find these guys?

The arena then suddenly fell into darkness. "Clubbed to Death" by Rob D carried it's low toll over the quieting fans as a clock popped up on the giant video screen, the second hand ticking almost painfully slowly around it's body. The image then faded into a half-concealed image of the man known only as Mystery Opponent, the man signed to face The Overnight Male at Destiny. A fierce grin creased his grim face as the man's mouth opened to speak, blending with the industrial sounds of the music.

Mystery Opponent: Tick tock. Tick tock. The moment is fast approaching, EWI. One more week. When the future comes...will you be ready for it?

The vision faded again, revealing a swirl of letters and sigils floating about the screen, each one aflame as maniacal laughter overwhelmed the sound of the song. The lights came up and the screen went blank.

Kogler: Jeez; would you please warn me the next time that's going to happen? Wait, that would be Destiny, wouldn't it .... you think Overnight Male is getting more than he bargained for? If this guy can live up to his hype, the cowpoke may be in for a long night!

Underwood: Overnight Male could certainly be in for a long night at Destiny. This man, whoever he is, has been appearing for several weeks now and certainly seems to mean business. Overnight Male, on the other hand, well, we have not seen him since the cage match against The Destroyer several weeks ago. I think for once Adam, you may just have a point. And speaking of Destiny, one of the big matches that night will be the six man tag team match with The Cult facing Diamond King's team. All the controversy is swirling about who the mystery partner will be in that match; some have even speculated that the mysterious man we just heard from could be the sixth man in the match. Whoever it turns out to be, however, before we get to Destiny, we're going to see a small preview of what that match will be as Benjamin Childs takes on Jamaal tonight live at Collision!

Benjamin Childs
~VS.~
Jamaal
with Ray Brewer

*****

Benjamin Childs made his way down to the ring first, accompanied as always by Zane. Once at ringside Childs set up his customary table outside the ring before rolling in under the bottom rope to wait for his opponent. Jamaal's music then began to play, and the large bodyguard from Sudan made his way to the ring accompanied by Diamond King's manager Ray Brewer. Before Jamaal could even make it to the ring, Seta Soujiro and Harbinger came running out from the dressing room and simultaneously blasted Jamaal across the back with steel chairs! Soujiro continued hammering Jamaal with the chair while Harbinger paused momentarily to floor Brewer with a shot across the head before joining his Cult "brother" in assaulting the big man. After several shots with the chairs the two men dragged Jamaal down to the ring and shoved him in under the bottom rope at Benjamin Childs' feet. They followed their victim in as Zane reached under the ring and produced a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire, which he tossed in to Childs. Childs waited until Jamaal got to his feet before cracking him across the skull with the barbed wire chair, tearing open a gash across the bodyguard's forehead. He then opened the chair and stood it in the middle of the ring as Harbinger climbed to the top rope. Childs whipped Jamaal off the ropes and hoisted him in the air on the rebound in a flapjack, with Harbinger coming off the top as he did so with a version of The Omen, driving Jamaal face first down into the chair once more! As Jamaal's bloody body rolled over in a heap, Seta Soujiro came off the top rope in the opposite corner with the Heart of Sword. Soujiro had a small smear of Jamaal's blood on his chest as he stood and joined his Cult cohorts in leaving the ring with Jamaal lying in a bloodied heap, the match having been declared a no contest as a result of the interference.

As the three men were leaving, the cameras cut backstage near a dressing room that was blocked by a parked forklift. Three Cult minions were trying to get in, and when they finally did manage to get inside they found The Destroyer, the giant EWI hardcore champion, face down on the floor and clutching his face. A can of mace was found on the floor, next to a pair of stun guns. A black Jack in the Box sat at the head of the fallen Cult member, and as one of the minions picked it up he started to turn the handle. A small sugar plum fairy figure popped out the top with a note attached that read "YOU WANTED A CHALLENGE YOU GOT ONE". The minion, with a definite look of concern on his face, turned and left the room as the scene fades to black.
