January 28, 2002

With a loud bang and a flash of blue, green, and white pyro, the EWI Collision is on the air. The arena is packed with several thousand rabid wrestling fans, waving signs and banners and cheering as loud as they can throughout the impressive opening display. As the noise dies down and the smoke begins to clear, the faces of play-by-play announcer Blake Underwood and color commentator Adam Kogler, his forehead bandaged from his match last week, who are at ringside to call the night's action, appears on the video screen and televisions across the continent.

Underwood: We are live, we are Elite Wrestling Internation, and we are about to see a Collision! I'm Blake Underwood along with Adam Kogler, and tonight is the night we've been waiting for. The biggest night in the history of Collision is here, ladies and gentlemen, with four championships to be decided, and that's not even counting our main event. Thirteen men will battle it out in a huge battle royal later on tonight with the winner moving on to Destiny, our next big pay per view event coming up in February, to get a shot at the EWI world title, currently held by Twisted Steel.

Kogler: As you might expect Woody, I'm extremely interested in the outcome of that Battle Royal! But I have to say, we have a lot of other big matches on tap tonight, with all four Titles on the line in one show, a show we're not even charging for! That's unprecedented, an idea practically worthy of myself. And I understand that we're kicking things off with the biggest one of all?

Underwood: Indeed we are kicking things off in a big way tonight with the EWI world title about to be decided for the first time since Gold Rush in a return match from the finals of the world title tournament that concluded that night. It will be Twisted Steel's first defense since becoming champion, as he takes on the man he beat in the final round to win the championship, Seta Soujiro. If their first matchup was any indication, Twisted Steel's reign as champ could be a very short one. Hey, don't give me that look, Kogler, you know full well that Soujiro gave your man all he could handle at Gold Rush. Tonight may be Soujiro's night!

Seta Soujiro
with The Destroyer

*****

While The Destroyer and Seta Soujiro waited in the ring, Quiet Riot's "Bang Your Head" played over the loudspeakers as dancing blue and silver spotlights followed the EWI World Champion, Tiwsted Steel, to the ring. Steel, wearing his red zebra-striped chained robe, a cocky smile, and the World Title belt, instructed the referee to hold off Soujiro and The Destroyer while he stepped halfway onto the turnbuckle to strike a pose with his title belt. As the ref reached for the belt, Steel waved his finger and slid out of the ring. He neatly folded the title and handed it to his manager, Adam Kogler, before hanging his robe on the ringpost and sliding back into the ring to start the match. Soujiro attacked right away, but Steel hit a forearm to The Cult member's head and then followed quickly with a standing clothesline, sending Seta down. Steel straddled Soujiro and hit a few right hands before lifting him up and sending him into the turnbuckles. Steel ran after him, hitting a clothesline before dragging him back to the middle of the ring with a bulldog. Steel then climbed to the second turnbuckle and came off with a double elbow drop. The champ went for the pin, but only got a two count. He then picked Soujiro up by the hair and nailed a side suplex, followed quickly by a somersault legdrop and another pin attempt. Seta once again kicked out at two. Steel then got up, and in a show of arrogance, leaned against the ropes and feigned a yawn before picking Seta up. Soujiro managed to shock Steel by hitting a few punches to his midsection. Attempting to gain momentum, Soujiro tried to whip Steel into the turnbuckles, but the world champion reversed it, sending Seta sternum-first into the corner. Steel followed quickly, nailing the Crazy Train followed by a death drop as Soujiro stumbled out of the corner! Steel went for the pin once more, but Soujiro, showing some resolve, kicked out once more. Frustrated, Steel dragged the Cult member to the second rope, draping his neck across it. Steel then pressed down on the back of his head with his boot, choking the odd young man. The referee stepped in immediately, and Steel let go at the four count, raising his arms in the air after doing so. He then picked Soujiro up and took him right back down with a swinging sidewalk slam. He went for the pin, but then turned it into the Dirty Deed. Steel held the hold for a while, but Soujiro managed to finally get to the ropes, breaking the hold. Steel, with the match well in hand, however, simply picked Soujiro up and delivered a body slam in the middle of the ring before climbing to the top rope. He leapt of backwards, hitting the Bad Moon Rising moonsault. Steel then once more made the pin. Finally out, Soujiro did not kick out, and Twisted Steel secured the win, prompting Kogler to stand at the announcer's booth and cheer wildly. Kogler handed the title belt to Steel, who proudly exited the arena.

Kogler: Ha! Yet another victory for YOUR EWI World Champion, Twisted Steel! What does that make him, 100-0 against The Cult? Poor little Seta, he gave it all he had, but once again, he lost to the better man. I almost hope one of these so-called "mystery entrants" wins this Battle Royal to give Steel some new competition, or it's going to be the same old story at Destiny, mark my words!

Underwood: You'd better be careful what you wish for, Adam, because you just might get it. That battle royal is full of big names. Diamond King is in there. Hell, just about the entire Cult is in there. And you never know who those mystery entrants might be. I bet you'll be singing a different tune after tonight is over. Before we get to the battle royal, though, we still have three other championships to decide, including the crowning of the first ever EWI tag team champions. You can see the cage lowering, and that means it's time for the tag titles to be decided, in a very unique matchup. Harbinger and The Destroyer and The Pinnacles of Perfection, the two highest ranking teams in the tag team tournament, will battle it out inside the cage, but in order to win the match a team will have to score falls over both members of the opposition. This could be one of the most gruelling matches we've ever seen here in EWI, and I can't think of two teams better suited for such a contest. Whoever wins this match will truly deserve to be called champions.

"POINT OF NO RETURN" STEEL CAGE MATCH

The Pinnacles of Perfection
(Big Daddy Cash & Suicide King the Hollywood Dream)
with Mr. Marvellous

*****

As soon as the cage finished its descent toward the ring, The Pinnacles of Perfection walked down the aisle with Mr. Marvellous. Big Daddy Cash and Suicide King the Hollywood Dream entered the cage, awaiting their opponents and running through their pre-match poses. Soon after, the multiple-time former tag team champions, Harbinger & The Destroyer, made their way to the ring to decide who would be the first team to hold those titles in EWI. Once entering the cage, the senior Cult members were attacked by their opponents, Cash taking Harbinger into the corner with a flurry of hard punches, and The Dream following suit on Destroyer. With Harbinger and Destroyer in opposite corners, The Pinnacles attempted to whip them into one another, at which point the Cult duo reversed. Cash athletically leapfrogged over his larger partner, but as he did, was smashed to the canvas by a punishing Destroyer clothesline. At the same time, Harbinger buried a vicious superkick into the upper midsection of Suicide King, sending him into the ropes and the cage. With King propped on the ropes, Harbinger pounced on him and began biting away at his face, as Destroyer lifted Cash and dropped him with a sidewalk slam. Immediately following, Destroyer walked over toward Harbinger and The Dream, as both men whipped Suicide King into the ropes, then Destroyer hoisted the big man up, with Harbinger catching him and driving him to the mat with a facebuster. Cash attacked from behind as Harbinger held down Dream, but Destroyer blocked his punch and responded with a series of his own. He then lifted Big Daddy Cash high into the air, and powerbombed him right onto Suicide King! Cash rolled to the side while clutching his ribs, so Destroyer went for the cover on Suicide King, as the ref counted to three, tipping the scales in The Cult's favor. The pair stomped away at the fallen Dream, then turned toward Big Daddy Cash, who was beginning to recover. Harbinger attacked first, pounding him down, then grabbing his legs and delivering a slingshot right into the steel cage. As Cash fell back, he stumbled right back into a Destroyer chokeslam that slammed the wind out of him. If that wasn't enough, Harbinger immediately flew off the top turnbuckle with a flying splash. He remained on top as the referee counted to three, crowning Harbinger & The Destroyer the first-ever EWI Tag Team Champions.

Underwood: The Cult is on a rampage tonight! I've never seen Big Daddy Cash and Suicide King get manhandled that way by anyone in any kind of environment. I said earlier that whoever won that match would deserve to be called champions, and I stand by it. After a performance like that The Cult has clearly shown that they are the best tag team in this federation.

Kogler: Harbinger and Destroyer looked like The Cult of old out there; walked right in that cage, took no prisoners. I'm certainly not the biggest Cult fan, but anytime misfortune besets that fat sack of crap Marvellous, I'm pretty OK with it! Congratulations to the new Tag Champs!

Underwood: Speaking of Marvellous, I wonder if he'd be interested in having his old commentary job back.

Kogler simply glared at Underwood, as the introductions for the next match started.

EWI UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Champion

Lucas Coleman

*Malcolm Coleman and all members of Criminal Nation are barred from ringside.

*****

The crowd booed the music of Lil' Zane as it pumped into the arena, signifying the arrival of the #1 contender to the universal title, Lucas Coleman. Coleman entered the ring with a stolid look, calmly stretching and waiting for the champion to make his way out. Soon enough, the arena darkened before being lit up with blue and red fireworks, as DMX's "Trina Moe" led Heavy D out through the curtains. The universal champion proudly stood at the foot of the entranceway with the universal title wrapped around his muscular midsection, before heading to the ring to defend that very belt. Heavy D stepped over the top rope to begin the match, as the two men engaged in a staredown. Coleman engaged in his trademark of allowing his opponent the first shot, but did so with none of the usual trash talk or shouting. Heavy D looked to the fans, shrugged, and responded with a hard right hand that sent the challenger careening toward the canvas, which brought about a pop from the crowd. Coleman took a moment to recover, then told the champion to bring it once again. Heavy D walked over, but was met with a spear out of nowhere from Coleman, taking him off guard. Coleman jumped on D and buried a succession of rapid-fire punches to his face, then grabbed him by the hair and slammed his face into his knee. Riding the momentum, Lucas Coleman came off the ropes with a spinning sidekick, but the larger Heavy D caught him in midair, then turned him around and delivered a powerslam that he calls the Gangsta Ride. D went for a cover which was kicked out of at two, so he whipped Coleman into the ropes. Coleman ducked a clothesline, then came off and jumped at D, hooking him with a swinging DDT. Now Coleman began to display some of his trademark fire, hyping himself up and yelling at the crowd. He flung some elbows at his opponent, then locked him in a full-nelson. Before the ref could ask for a submission, Coleman switched over to a half-nelson, and used his other arm to hoist Heavy D over with a suplex in an impressive display of strength. Coleman managed to get a two count before Heavy D powered out, then kept down the champ with a series of stomps to the back. Lucas followed with a jumping legdrop, then aggressively signaled to the crowd - he cinched up Heavy D's legs, and applied the No Escape Deathlock! The crowd booed heavily as Coleman reared back, and Heavy D started to crawl slowly toward the ropes. Halfway there, Heavy D's arms collapsed, and the referee asked if he wanted to give it up. The universal champ shouted an emphatic "no," then again slowly made his way toward the ropes, before lunging for the bottom one. Before he could fully wrap his arms around it, Coleman used all the strength he could muster to painstakingly pull D back toward the middle of the ring. D found nowhere to go, but the rising cheers of the fans seemed to give him a last jolt of power. Heavy D slowly started to rise off the mat, with Coleman shaking his head and digging in even deeper with the hold. Heavy D began to rise even further, and with a final burst, used his thick legs to kick out of the hold! Favoring his legs, Heavy D slowly pulled himself up, as Coleman took himself out of the ropes he was just kicked into. Coleman flew at the champion with an elbow, but Heavy D sidestepped, then delivered a hard right, then another, followed by a Ghetto Punch that slammed Coleman to the canvas. Between favoring his legs, D reached down and pulled up Coleman, then readied him for the D Drop! At this point, Adam Kogler threw down his headset at ringside, and climbed up on the apron, then started frantically shouting at Heavy D. D walked over and began to threaten Kogler, but the crowd then turned to the entranceway, where EWI world champion Twisted Steel was running out with the world title. He slid into the ring, and as Lucas Coleman was getting to his feet, blasted him in the face with the title belt! The referee called for the bell and disqualified Heavy D, at which point Kogler dropped off the apron with a smile. Twisted Steel reared back with the folded up belt, and as soon as Heavy D turned around, let loose with a flying beltshot. Heavy D dodged at the last minute, then tackled the world champion to the canvas! Heavy D began punching away at Steel, so Adam Kogler slid into the ring and jumped on the universal champion's back. Heavy D quickly shot up and dumped Kogler over his head onto his back, then lifted him up by the throat! The crowd went wild, but soon started booing as Rukuss ran in from the crowd and took Heavy D down with a clothesline, as Kogler slid out of the ring. The ex-member of Criminal Nation stomped away at the fallen Coleman, then lifted up Heavy D and delivered the Bomb First! Rukuss then wheeled around and found himself face to face with Twisted Steel. After a brief staredown, Rukuss slowly bent down and picked up the world title, then placed it on Twisted Steel's shoulder! The crowd reacted with disgust as Twisted Steel pointed at Rukuss with a smile and raised his hand, as Adam Kogler reentered the ring with Heavy D's universal title. He presented the title to Rukuss, then raised his hand as well as Steel's as the crowd completely turned on the display in the ring. Adam Kogler rolled out of the ring and returned to commentary as Twisted Steel and Rukuss headed to the back with the two belts, leaving D and Coleman in the ring. Coleman had gotten to his feet while Heavy D was still feeling the effects of the D Drop, and glared down at his opponent. The crowd began to boo again, but reacted with shock as Lucas Coleman reached down and helped Heavy D to his feet. Heavy D paused in surprise, then extended his hand to Coleman. The crowd began to egg Coleman on, and after some hesitation, he shook the hand of the universal champion, finally giving the crowd something to cheer about.

Underwood: What in the world...

Kogler: Hahahaha! Did you see that, Underwood?! They don't call me the Greatest Mind in Wrestling for nothing! Not even that sappy show of sportsmanship can ruin my mood at this point! I told you what happens when you get on my revenge list, and you just saw it in action! And believe you me, it's not over yet!

Underwood: What the hell were you doing getting involved in that match, Kogler? We've been waiting to see Heavy D and Coleman finally have it out almost since we opened the doors in EWI, and now you have to ruin it? You ought to be ashamed of yourself!

Kogler: You want the truth, Underwood? You can't handle the truth! I've always wanted to say that. But you'll find out as soon as all the cretins here and watching at home do, and that time isn't now! Don't we have a match to get to?

Underwood: Indeed we do. The Destroyer is about to defend the hardcore title against a debuting Pitch Black. You're not dodging the issue that easily, though, Kogler, you'll have to explain yourself sooner or later...

Pitch Black

*****

As Pitch Black waited in the ring The Destroyer came down the aisle, carrying a table wrapped in barbed-wire. On the table was a full-length mirror, as used in his infamous vanity matches. The Destroyer set the table down and carried the mirror into the ring with him. He set it in a corner and then faced off with Pitch Black. The two traded punches, but the champion got the upper hand because of his obvious size advantage. He sent Black into the ropes and attempted a big boot, but Black ducked it. When he turned around, however, he was met with a devastating clothesline. The Destroyer then produced a pair of brass knuckles and began repeatedly punching Black in the face before picking Black up and sending him hard into the turnbuckle. Destroyer then set the mirror on the canvas and as Black stumbled out he executed a drop toe-hold, dropping Black face-first into the mirror, sending shards of glass everywhere. Destroyer ground Black's face into the broken glass for a while before picking him up. Black attempted a punch in defense, but his face was so covered in blood that he could not see. The hardcore champ easily sidestepped it, grabbed his arm, and then turned him over into a pumphandle powerslam back onto the glass! Destroyer then picked Black up in a gorilla press slam, sending him over the top rope to the outside, right through the barbedwire covered table! Black lay in a heap on the floor and was easy pickings for the big man, but after winning the tag title earlier in the evening Destroyer was on a roll and not about to let up. He followed Black to the outside and used the strands of barbed wire to choke the challenger until he was near the point of unconsciousness. The challenger was finished, and Destroyer knew it as he picked him up for one final move, a powerbomb across the steel guardrail! Black's body wrenched awkwardly in the wrong direction and he collapsed in a heap on the floor. The Destroyer then made the cover on the outside for the easy three count.

Underwood: The Destroyer is absolutely unstoppable tonight! I remember MMP WrestleFest 2000 when Destroyer was unbeatable for three days, but I never thought he could pull of another performance like that. We've seen the big man tear through title matches, and with the battle royal coming up next, I fear there may be no stopping him. As for Pitch Black, I can only hope he's alright, that was a nasty looking powerbomb he took at the end of that match. I don't like the way his back bended as it struck the guardrail.

Kogler: Oh that Pitch Black, picks his spots, sneak attacks, then thinks he can get in there with someone the caliber of The Destroyer and win the Hardcore Title in his first official EWI match. What happens? He gets destroyed! I never liked that little weasel, and I'm glad he got what he had coming! But enough about him, it's time for the big one!

Underwood: It certainly is time for the big one, with thirteen of the best the EWI has to offer getting ready to battle it out in one match with the winner going on to Destiny for a shot at Twisted Steel and the EWI world title. This is a huge opportunity for these men, and I for one can't wait to see it. Let's go back to the ring for our main event!

*****

The Destroyer, fresh off his win over Pitch Black in the hardcore title match, remained in the ring for the battle royal, glaring out at the entrance way as if to dare the entire locker room to come and try him on for size. While Black was helped to his feet by two EMTs on the outside of the ring, other participants in the battle royal started to make their way out: Rukuss, Wolverine, the new team of Ronin and Richtor, Diamond King and Jamaal, and the remaining members of The Cult, Harbinger, Benjamin Childs (with steel chair in hand), and The Cult Master himself. With ten men in the ring, one of the two surprise entrants made his way out, that being the soldier recently identified as "The Recon" Nathan Rincon, making his long awaited EWI debut. Recon didn't even wait for the bell to sound and went right for Destroyer, with the two men with military backgrounds trading punches in the middle of the ring while the other nine men in the ring simply stood by and watched. Attention then turned to the entrance way as the "Old Lady" who had been appearing in recent interviews started down the aisle, leading out the giant "Beast From Greece", former MMP and ICW world champion Aries. Aries stepped over the top rope and the bell sounded to begin the match. Pitch Black, still reeling on the outside, finally told the medics to get away from him and let him enter the match. He slid in under the bottom rope as the other dozen contestants in the match paired off. Aries and Benjamin Childs went right for one another, rekindling one of the longest running rivalries in wrestling history. Richtor tried to use his speed and agility to his advantage against the much larger Rukuss but found little success early, while his tag team partner Ronin hooked up with The Cult Master in a corner. As Diamond King directed his bodyguard Jamaal's attack on Wolverine Harbinger jumped the five-time world champion from behind, hanging onto DK's back and raking his face with his long fingernails. DK stumbled around blinded temporarily, allowing Harbinger to run off the far ropes and attack with a flying bodypress. The Canadian, however, was able to catch Harbinger in mid air and turn him over with a powerslam, buying him a much needed breather early in the match. The distraction of Harbinger's attack allowed Wolverine to get the upper hand on Jamaal, driving the bodyguard down to the canvas with a series of punishing forearms. Realizing the importance of keeping Jamaal in the match DK quickly came to his aid, catching Wolverine with a shoulderblock to the back of the knees. On the other side of the ring Destroyer and Recon continued their battle, with the hardcore champion now in control, dominating the rookie with hard punches and forearms to the back. Recon, however, managed to turn the tables with a quick low blow, bringing the big man to his knees. Both men leaned against the ropes gasping for air, oblivious to the carnage going on around them. Ronin continued to battle Cult Master in the corner, climbing to the second rope and hammering down on his adversary with ten right hands with the crowd counting right along. He then hopped down from the buckle, allowing Cult Master to stumble out of the corner along the ropes. With his opponent primed for elimination Ronin charged with a clothesline, but Cult Master lowered his shoulder, sending Ronin over the top rope to the floor, making him the first man eliminated from the match. Ronin was soon joined by his tag team partner Richtor, who was sent over the top by virtue of an impressive gorilla press slam from the massive Rukuss, who was clearly no favourite of the crowd after his involvement in the Heavy D/Lucas Coleman match earlier in the night. The double team effort from Diamond King and Jamaal was taking it's toll on Wolverine, and with DK giving instructions Jamaal drove the "Michigan Outlaw" head first into the canvas with the Sudan Slam. Wolverine was knocked senseless, allowing DK to pull him up with ease and dispose of the OWA champ over the top rope. After dropping Aries with a side suplex Benjamin Childs focused his attention on Pitch Black, who was slumped down in a corner. Aries rolled over to the ropes where the old lady on the outside passed him her cane. He then got to his feet and went right back after Childs, hitting his longtime foe across the back, knocking him to the canvas. Even with the action in the ring heating up, the fans couldn't help but turn their attention to the runway as the EWI world champion, Twisted Steel, was making his way down to the ring, carrying his trusty silver crowbar. He slid right into the ring and wasted no time going after the competition, nailing Aries in the shoulder to move him out of the way before catching Pitch Black with a hard right hand that sent him over the top to the floor. Before Steel could go after another target Harbinger nailed him with a spinning heel kick, knocking the crowbar away, before mounting and choking the world champ. With Steel momentarily subdued other competitors were able to continue their battles, with Diamond King and Cult Master finally locking up for the first time and Destroyer and Recon continuing their battle along the ropes. This time it was Recon who had the advantage, choking Destroyer on the middle rope with the big man still down on his knees. Rukuss finally freed himself up and went over to pull Harbinger off Steel, giving the world champ time to crawl over and grab his crowbar once against. Steel didn't get very far before Jamaal was on him, stomping Steel across the back and pushing him over towards the ropes. Steel groggily got to his feet as Rukuss hurled Harbinger across the ring by his mangy hair. With Steel staggered against the ropes Jamaal slowly charged with a clothesline, a clothesline that Steel easily avoided. When Jamaal turned around he was met with a crowbar shot right between the eyes that knocked the big man from Sudan over the top to the floor. By then a swarm of referees was dispatched to the ring to surround Steel and force him out of the ring, allowing the match to continue uninterrupted. By this time both Childs and Aries, on different sides of the ring, were recovering from their respective attacks with foreign objects. A big boot to the face of Harbinger while he was stumbling to his feet courtesy of Rukuss sent the rabid tag team champion over the top rope, but also left Rukuss off balance and easy pickings for a Benjamin Childs clothesline that knocked Rukuss over the top to the floor. The match was down to it's final six - Childs, Diamond King, Destroyer, Aries, Cult Master, and Nathan Rincon - when the arena went black. An orange glow eminated from the video screen above the entrance. "Clubbed to Death" carried an erie industrial tone throughout the blanket of darkness as flames crawled up the screen. A deep voice half-whispered "Something BIG is coming...I have SEEN it!", and then two bright yellow eyes snapped open amidst the flames on the screen. The vision then vanished just as quickly as it had appeared and the lights came back up in the arena, showing six men standing in the ring with perplexed expressions on their faces, the match at a virtual standstill. The old lady outside the ring took advantage of the hesitation and positoned herself in front of The Cult Master. She whipped off her mask, revealing Aries' longtime confidant Nashira. She blew Cult Master a kiss, distracting him long enough for Aries to get in a cheap shot from behind. Benjamin Childs paired off with Recon while Destroyer used his size to overpower Diamond King. A group of men in Armani suits came down to the ring and surrounded Nashira, their purpose a mystery, as Destroyer caught Diamond King with a devastating backbreaker off in the background. The reason for the men soon became apparent as Aries called over to one of them, who reached into his jacket and pulled out a lead pipe. He tossed the pipe into the ring, but it was intercepted by Destroyer, who approached Aries from behind out of his view. As Aries turned around he caught the pipe right between the eyes, enabling Cult Master to lift him up with a fireman and dump him over the top to the floor. After taking Childs down with a swinging neckbreaker Recon came after Destroyer once again, nailing the big man with a double axhandle from behind, causing him to drop the pipe. The pipe rolled out to the floor as Recon again choked Destroyer, this time along the top rope. Diamond King, finally recovered from the attack by Destroyer, walked over to Cult Master, who was still down after the demanding effort of sending a big man like Aries over the top, and taunted the leader of The Cult, asking him whatever happened to the powers of God. While DK's back was turned Benjamin Childs reached to the outside of the ring and grabbed the steel chair he had brought out and snuck up on his former employer from behind. Cult Master slowly got to his feet, snickering at Diamond King, who didn't see Childs slowly advancing on him from behind. Childs wound up and swung, but at the last moment DK moved out of the way, and Childs slammed the chair down across the top of Cult Master's head!! Cult Master fell to the canvas as if he'd been shot, and Childs hurried over to attend to his master, forgetting about the other men in the ring. The distraction occupied Childs long enough for DK to take advantage of the Destroyer/Recon situation, grab both men's legs and, using their lack of balance along the ropes to his advantage, dump both men over the top to the floor, bringing the match down to the final three: Diamond King, The Cult Master, and Benjamin Childs. DK fell to one knee, leaning against the middle ropes after eliminating Destroyer and Recon, and as Childs helped his master to his feet Cult Master pointed towards DK and ordered Childs into battle. The two men, whose history together goes back more than three years, slowly advance towards each other, and once in the middle of the ring they started trading punches with Childs, the more notorious brawler of the two, getting the upper hand. He backed DK towards the ropes, but before he was in any danger of being eliminated, DK stopped the barrage with a stomp to the shins. Childs staggered back and DK charged with a clothesline, which Childs ducked, and as he turned around Childs caught him with a spray of white mist right in the eyes! DK was blinded, and simply on instinct lunged forward, hooking Childs around the waist and driving him back towards the ropes. The two men teetered against the ropes and Cult Master, seeing his opportunity, moved in quickly and hoisted DK up over the top. The momentum carried both Diamond King and Childs over to the floor, leaving The Cult Master alone in the ring! The bell sounded and Cult Master collapsed mid-ring in complete exhaustion. Harbinger and Destroyer quickly returned to the ring and helped their master up, celebrating his triumph as the scene fades to black.
