With a loud bang and a flash of blue, green, and white pyro, the EWI Collision is on the air. The arena is packed with several thousand rabid wrestling fans, waving signs and banners and cheering as loud as they can throughout the impressive opening display. As the noise dies down and the smoke begins to clear, the faces of play-by-play announcer Blake Underwood and color commentator Adam Kogler, who are at ringside to call the night's action, appears on the video screen and televisions across the continent.

Underwood: We are live, we are Elite Wrestling International, and we are about to witness a Collision! Hello everyone I'm Blake Underwood alongside Adam Kogler where tonight, believe it or not, my broadcast collegue will actually be stepping into the ring as part of our huge tag team main event. It will be Twisted Steel, the EWI world champion teaming with his manager to take on Diamond King and his manager Ray Brewer. The stipulations on this match could not be higher, and by the looks of things it's a good thing for Twisted Steel that they don't pick the matches based on the appearance of the participants because Adam, you look absolutely ridiculous.

Kogler: Oh, aren't you the funny guy? A real cut-up, eh Underwood? Well it doesn't matter what you or anyone else thinks, because The Strong Island Scrapper is back at long last! And tonight, in that very main event you just mentioned, Twisted Steel and I are going to make sure that the closest Diamond King will ever again get to the EWI World Title is with a washcloth and some Turtle Wax! You hear that Brewer?! Revenge will be sweet!

Underwood: That could very well be true if you and Steel are able to pull out a victory tonight. Of course, we all know the stipulations on this match. If Diamond King and Brewer win tonight, King gets a shot at Twisted Steel's EWI title in a match of his choosing whenever he opts to call it in, and we have already heard word that that match, should it come to that, will take place right here next week live on Collision. If, however, Steel and my broadcast partner are successful, Diamond King will not get a single title shot for as long as Steel holds the belt. Short of having the title actually on the line tonight, the stakes could not be higher for those four men. We will see one championship on the line as later tonight the EWI hardcore champion The Destroyer steps into the confines of the giant roofed steel cage you see hanging high overhead to face The Overnight Male in his first title defense. We kick things off tonight with our other EWI titleholder, the universal champion Heavy D, taking on a man whose identity we have yet to find out. This man goes only by the monicker "A Distant Memory", though we may just be seconds away from finding out who he is as we go to the ring for our opening contest.

Mystery Opponent

*****

A man wearing a black mask stepped through the curtains. He made his way to ringside, but before entering the ring, the mystery man set up a table, and then stacked another one on top of it. He then slid into the ring. As he stood up and got into his corner, the lights went out. The red and blue fireworks of Heavy D's entrance then went off, as "Trina Moe" by DMX began to play. Out stepped Heavy D, garnering a huge response from the crowd. Heavy D looked at the crowd for a moment, and then made his way to ringside, his EWI universal championship around his waist. He entered the ring, removed his title belt, and then went face-to-face with the mystery man. Heavy D looked up at the taller mystery man. They stared each other down for a moment before tearing into each other, trading punch after punch. Being the bigger man, the mystery opponent gained the advantage, putting the universal champion down with an amateur-style takedown. The mystery man moved quickly, locking Heavy D in an ankle lock, holding it for a moment before switching the hold into an STF. Heavy D was still far from worn down, however, and he was able to maneuver himself in order to quickly get under the ropes, breaking the hold. The masked man allowed D to get up, which proved to be a mistake, as the champion locked up and quickly grabbed the man, slamming him into the mat with a gut-wrench suplex. Heavy D then picked up his opponent and hit a few punches to the bigger man before attempting to send him into the ropes with an Irish whip. The masked man, however, held on and grabbed Heavy D, locking him into a front headlock. He then spun around and applied a reverse headlock, quickly moving from there into a standing dragon sleeper. It became apparent that his goal was to wear down Heavy D's neck. The mystery man then dropped to one knee, holding onto Heavy D's head, resulting in Heavy D's neck ramming into the mystery man's knee. Heavy D fell to the mat, clutching his neck in obvious pain. The masked man then quickly grabbed Heavy D and applied a camel clutch. The referee repeatedly asked Heavy D if he wanted to quit, but the leader of Criminal Nation vehemently refused. The masked man finally gave up on the hold, and allowed Heavy D to get up. The mystery man booted Heavy D in the midsection and put him into position for a piledriver, but Heavy D fought back, flipping the man over and onto the mat. Heavy D then slowly went over to the man, and kicked him a few times. He then picked the man up and delivered a vertical suplex. He then attempted to apply the Thugged Out, but the masked man was able to get out of it by sticking his leg under the ropes. Heavy D then picked the man up, who swung at the universal champ. Heavy D ducked and quickly moved behind his still-dazed opponent and hit the D Drop! Heavy D quickly went for the pin, but because they were so close to the ring ropes, the pin was called off on account of the mystery man's foot being under the ropes once again. Frustrated, Heavy D picked up his opponent, but in a sudden burst of energy, the mystery man was able to charge Heavy D and hit a devastating clothesline. He couldn't make the cover, however, as both men were laid out, exhausted from their grueling match. The masked man was the first to get up and instead of pinning his opponent, he moved to the outside of the ring. Reaching under the ring, he pulled out a ladder and set it up next to the stacked tables. He then climbed up the ladder and onto the tables just as the universal champion got to his feet. Heavy D looked around and finally located the masked man, who was gesturing for him to join him on the tables. Heavy D was quick to comply, climbing the turnbuckles and stepping out onto them. Just as at the beginning of the match, the two men began trading punches as the crowd rose to its feet in anticipation of what might happen. Once again, the mystery man gained the advantage, nailing a punch that staggered Heavy D back a step and nearly off of the tables. The champ quickly regrouped, however, and charged the masked man, hitting a spear tackle that sent the two men flying off of the tables and through the announcers' table!!! Both men were laid out and did not move as the referee counted both men out, sounded the bell, and declared the match a double countout.

Underwood: Look at the carnage in front of us! Heavy D and this masked man, whoever he is, have destroyed one another! This could have major implications for the universal championship if Heavy D has been injured.

Kogler: Sure, fine, great, Universal Champion, whatever. But Underwood, who was that masked man? Come on, I want to know! I know you're in on it, spill the beans!

Underwood: I don't know who that was any more than you do. All I know is that he's a huge man, one of the biggest here in EWI, and he really took the fight to Heavy D. I'd say the competition around here just got a lot stiffer with the addition of this man, whoever he might be. While the ring crew is cleaning up this mess of shattered tables around us, it's time for our next match, pitting Seta Soujiro against The Regulator. We saw Regulator get into it with Destroyer a week ago, and with Soujiro trying to make amends to The Cult for defeats in his last two outings, this could be just the opportunity he's looking for. Regulator is no slouch, a former GWF and MMP world champion, and a win of this calibre could give Soujiro back the confidence he has lost since losing the finals of the world title tournament to Twisted Steel.

The Regulator

*****

The lights in the arena went out and the "Imperial March" began to play, signalling the entrance of The Regulator. After getting into the ring The Regulator immediately went to the official, complaining about the interference empolyed in recent Cult matches. He ordered the referee to bar all Cult members from ringside, and the official agreed to do so. It would not matter, however, for as "Walking Wounded" began to play and Cult member Seta Soujiro entered the arena, all could see that the odd man was unaccompanied to ringside. The fans jeered Soujiro as he made his way into the ring. Soujiro went face to face with The Regulator, his cold grin firmly in place. This angered Regulator, who immediately kicked Soujiro in the gut, doubling the Cult member over. He then went for a DDT, but Soujiro pushed out of it and began laying a series of left and right hands to the face of The Regulator. He backed his opponent into the ropes, and then sent Regulator to the other side with an Irish whip. As he came off, The Regulator ducked a clothesline attempt from Soujiro and bounced off the ropes once more. The Regulator attempted to hit The Edge for a quick victory, but Soujiro countered, wriggling out of the move and then hiiting a quick reverse thrust kick to Regulator's face, sending the Brooklyn native hard to the mat. The Cult member then picked Regulator up and sent him hard into the turnbuckles, following quickly with a backflip kick. As Soujiro recovered and walked the apron, however, Regulator got a burst of energy, laying into Soujiro with a series of knife-edge chops that staggered the man on the apron. Soujiro soon fought back, however, and soon both men were trading vicious punches to each others' faces. Soujiro got the advantage when he grabbed Regulator by the head and rammed it into the nearby turnbuckle. Still holding on, Soujiro climbed the turnbuckle and jumped off, delivering a pseudo-springboard bulldog to The Regulator. Soujiro picked Regulator up, but he fought off the Cult member, attempting to deliver a kick to Seta's gut. Soujiro caught it, but The Regulator countered and hit an insiguri kick to the back of Seta's head, sending him to the mat. Reg followed quickly with three quick elbow drops, before picking Seta up and applying a combination armbar/choke-hold. The referee saw this immediately, and broke the hold. The Regulator turned to argue with the official, and this gave Soujiro time to recover. Soujiro got to his feet and nailed a picture-perfect dropkick that sent Regulator outside to the floor. Soujiro followed quickly with a suicide dive through the ropes, crashing into Regulator and sending both men to the ground. Soujiro was the first to get up, and he picked The Regulator up and sent him into the steel guardrail, following quickly with a vicious kick to the face that sent Regulator down hard. He then picked him up and rolled Reg into the ring. Soujiro then climbed to the top turnbuckle and came off with The Heart of Sword, landing flush against the chest of Regulator. Soujiro followed quickly with a pin for the 1....2....3 and the victory.

Kogler: I can't figure this kid out, Woody. He starts his career with a bang, then fizzles out after losing at Gold Rush to one Twisted Steel, and now he comes back and knocks off another veteran in The Regulator? Well, maybe that at least means he's finally out of the Cult doghouse!

Underwood: From what I'd been told Soujiro was never in the, well, Cult doghouse, but he felt he needed to earn a victory or two to make up a debt to The Cult Master. I'd say defeating The Regulator here tonight should put him right back on track. And speaking of The Cult Master, he sees action in our next match in a battle of former world champions against Wolverine!

The Cult Master
~VS.~
Wolverine

*****

A grim aura swept over the area, as The Cult Master began his long entrance procession, flanked by Harbinger and The Destroyer. After the elaborate entrance concluded, The Cult Master patiently waited in the ring for his opponent. Wolverine intently made his way down the aisle, and charged The Cult Master as soon as the bell rang. Cult Master, however, sidestepped the Michigan Outlaw and executed a drop toehold, which sent Wolverine face first into the bottom turnbuckle. The Cult Master dragged Wolverine out of the corner by the legs, then began to repeatedly slam his face into the canvas until the referee began a five count. The Cult Master stood over his opponent with a triumphant look, but Wolverine would have none of it, reaching up with an uppercut to Cult Master's midsection, then another to the chest, a knee to the midsection as he got to his feet, capped off with a bodyslam. The Cult Master quickly got to his feet, but Wolverine dropped him with another bodyslam. The enigmatic overseer of The Cult again bounded to his feet, so Wolverine whipped him into the ropes and sent him flying with a big back body drop. Wolverine dropped an elbow and went for a cover, getting a two count. Wolverine picked The Cult Master off the canvas and went for an Irish whip, which was reversed by Cult Master, who caught Wolverine with a sidewalk slam. Both men took a moment to recover on the canvas, but as Wolverine reached for his adversary, Cult Master grabbed his leg and used his momentum to take him over with a dragon-screw legwhip. He held onto Wolverine's leg after applying the hold, dropping several elbows across it and then ramming it hard into the canvas. The Cult Master followed up by applying a figure-four leglock, but Wolverine astutely grabbed the bottom rope before the pain became too much. The Cult Master didn't cease, lifting Wolverine and hooking his leg. The Cult Master lifted him up for a fisherman's suplex, which was blocked. Another attempt saw Wolverine block a second time, then free his leg and blast Cult Master to the canvas with a clothesline out of nowhere. Wolverine favored his leg on the canvas as The Cult Master pulled himself up using the ropes. The leader of the Cult was the first to his feet, and pulled Wolverine to a standing position, then whipped him toward the turnbuckles. Wolverine reversed, sending the Cult Master hard into the corner. As The Cult Master walked out, Wolverine clasped his hand around his throat and lifted the Cult Master high into the air! As Wolverine prepared to deliver the chokeslam, however, his leg gave out, taking him to a knee and allowing Cult Master to recapture his wits. The Cult Master delivered several hard punches to the big man before lifting him up to the top turnbuckle. His leg taken out, Wolverine had no counter for the devastating Final Prayer, nor was he able to kick out as The Cult Master made the cover and scored the three count.

Underwood: A hard fought battle between arguably the top two former OWA talents in EWI. In a match like that it's a shame someone has to come out on the losing end, but on this night it was The Cult Master who was the better man.

Kogler: I do have to say, that was a match that could have gone either way, but Cult Master pulled it out in the end for the hard-fought win. Can't take anything away from that, and both these guys are among the top competitors here in EWI - but don't think that puts either one in line for a Title shot!

Underwood: I knew there had to be a catch somewhere. Praise from Adam Kogler? Pssssh. You may say that neither man is in line for a title shot in your books, but I've heard that both The Cult Master and Wolverine are already entered in the battle royal set for January 28. Despite your opinion, it could very easily be one of those two men facing Twisted Steel for the EWI title on February 21 at Destiny, which will be live on pay per view from Memphis, TN. Well as you can see, the giant roofed steel cage is lowering around us, and that can mean only one thing...the EWI hardcore title is about to be decided as The Destroyer makes his first title defense in a return match of last week, taking on The Overnight Male!

The Overnight Male

*****

The cage was lowered toward the ring as the fans roared in anticipation. As his theme song blared through the entire arena, The Overnight Male slowly headed down the aisle toward the ring with Helena by his side. Helena gave Overnight some words of encouragement as he sized up the cage before stepping through the door. As he did, the massive Destroyer walked to the ring, not accompanied by any of his Cult brethren, as was the stipulation of the match. The door was shut behind the gigantic hardcore champion; as the match commenced, Overnight Male took a long glance up at his larger opponent, then shot off several hard punches to the midsection, to which Destroyer barely flinched. Overnight bounced off the ropes and came off with a clothesline, which staggered The Destroyer. He went for another, but this time The Destroyer caught him, hoisting up The Overnight Male with a gorilla press and slamming him into the cage! The Overnight Male bounced off and amazingly landed on his feet, but was then sent down by a clothesline from Destroyer. The Destroyer picked The Male up off the mat by the hair, and a trickle of blood could be seen dripping down the side of his head. Undaunted, Overnight Male reached up with some hard punches to Destroyer's ribs. These staved off the hardcore champ long enough for Overnight to reach up with a hard forearm, and with Destroyer taken off guard, The Overnight Male was able to shove him face first into the cage. As Destroyer backed up, Overnight Male was able to whip him into the opposite side of the cage, then he jumped on the big man and raked his face across the cage. The Destroyer slowly turned around to reveal blood on his face as well, but covering his entire face as a result of being raked across the steel cage. Overnight Male swung a big right hand at Destroyer, who simply caught the punch in his huge fist, and swung Overnight around into a neckbreaker. A look of anger could be seen through Destroyer's crimson mask as he dropped a huge leg across the chest of his opponent. He picked up The Overnight Male by the throat and buried a few punches into the side of the head where he had busted him open earlier, then whipped him into the turnbuckles. The Male, however, used the top rope to spring to the second turnbuckle, then came off with a double axehandle to the charging Destroyer, taking both men down to the mat. The competitors faces were both stained with dried blood at this point, though Overnight's head was still trickling as he slowly climbed to his feet. The Destroyer was about to regain his vertical base as well, but Overnight ran off the ropes and grounded him with a rocker dropper before he could get there. The crowd coming alive for Overnight Male's wave of momentum. Overnight picked Destroyer off the canvas, hitting him with rights and lefts all the while, then attempted to hoist him up for a bodyslam! The Overnight Male actually got the weary Destroyer up, but the weight forced him to land in an awkward position. With Destroyer on the mat though, Overnight seized the opportunity as best he could by using the turnbuckles to pull himself up, then climbed all the way to the top. The Overnight Male leaped off to a big pop with a big frog splash, hitting nothing but canvas as The Destroyer rolled out of the way just in time. The Destroyer saw Overnight flat on his stomach, then stood over him and applied a camel clutch while reaching into his tights. Producing a pair of brass knuckles, The Destroyer rained down a succession of brass blows while still maintaining the painful hold. The vicious attack rendered Overnight Male all but unconscious as more blood ran down his head and face, and with a few modifications, The Destroyer was soon able to roll his opponent over into the Will Breaker! The referee stopped the match when he saw that The Overnight Male wasn't responding, awarding the match to The Destroyer. Unfortunately, The Destroyer didn't seem content with retaining his Hardcore Title, as he walked menacingly toward the fallen Overnight Male. Suddenly, the arena went completely dark, and after a few moments, light returned to the arena to reveal the cage door swinging back and forth, and The Destroyer flat on his back in the middle of the ring! Standing over The Destroyer is the mysterious masked man seen earlier against Heavy D, brandishing a chair. As he helped Overnight Male to his feet, The Cult Master hurriedly made his way into the cage with several Cult minions. The Cult Master warily approached the stranger as well as The Overnight Male, as both men faced the leader of The Cult inside the cage. Then, The Cult Master began to laugh maniacally, as he motioned to the masked man, who kicked The Overnight Male in the stomach and nailed him with a pumphandle slam! The man stood over Overnight Male, then slowly pulled back his mask to reveal ..... Benjamin Childs! The cage began to rise as EWI officials attempted to enter the ring, but the Cult minions kept them at bay. Benjamin Childs demanded a microphone as Destroyer rose from the canvas, a smug look visible through his face full of dried blood. Childs spoke.

Childs: Did you truly think that you could deny the True and Almighty One Himself??? Does the lost sheep not return to his shepherd eventually? The shepherd will always find his lost sheep, and no one can deny the Almighty One Himself for so long and get away with it! That goes for everyone in this fed. If you stand against us then you shall become what this man here tonight has become. A lost, beaten soul who is in need of a TRUE guide, not a young woman who seeks only to distract him. Overnight, when you awake from this I want you to seriously think of changing your blasphemous ways. And you shall have a long time to think of this, in your hospital bed!

The Cult Master then took the microphone, grinning from ear to ear, as Childs repeatedly buried the chair into the Overnight Male's ribs.

Cult Master: And so the lost sheep has returned to my Fold! He knows, as all should know, that I am the Shepherd of all mortals, I am the Leader of the Flock! Benjamin Childs has returned to The Cult, and all in the EWI should fear us, as we grow more powerful with every passing day!!!

As The Cult Master finished his speech, Childs brought Overnight to the top rope, then delivered the Sacrifice! The lights again went out, but when they returned this time, the entire Cult had vanished, leaving only Helena, EWI officials, EMT's, and a bloody, unconscious Overnight Male in the center of the ring.

Underwood: Benjamin Childs is here in Elite Wrestling International, and he is back at the side of The Cult Master! Adam Kogler, this can't sit too well with you at all!

Kogler: What?! Childs?! He can't be back! This is an outrage, who let him into EWI?! I won't stand for this Underwood, you can bet your bottom dollar! And look at this, I couldn't care less about this sappy cowboy wannabe, but 3 on 1? Oh yeah, REAL fair, Cult! Each and every one of you make me sick!

Underwood: Despite your protests, yes, Benjamin Childs is here. The only man to ever score a pinfall over Twisted Steel has joined EWI, and that can't make Twisted Steel a very happy camper. Shouldn't you have known about this, Mr. Greatest Mind in Wrestling?

Pantera's "Hostile" filled the arena before Kogler could answer, meaning it was time for the main event.

Kogler: Well Underwood, I'd love to stay and chat with you - actually, that's a bold-faced lie, but duty calls regardless! Wish me luck, not that I'll need it, because the Strong Island Scrapper is back!

*If Steel & Kogler win, DK will get no shot at the EWI world title as long as Steel remains champion.
**If DK & Brewer win, DK will be guaranteed a shot at Steel's EWI world title, to be taken in a match of DK's choice at a time of his choosing.

*****

Kogler grabbed a mic from ringside and climbed into the ring, removing his warm-up jacket to give the a good look at his 140 pound physique. Kogler walked around the ring in his shorts and "Strong Island Scrapper" tanktop, and struck a few poses to rile up the crowd. He then spoke as his music died down.

Kogler: Ladies and gents, it's the moment you've alllllll been waiting for! I know, I know, you think I'm referring to the unveiling of my awe-inspiring body, but amazingly, that's NOT what I'm talking about! No no no, I've got something of even greater magnitude for you! You see, it's high time to exile the King and put Beer Gut Brewer out to pasture for good! I give to you my tag team partner, THE man here in EWI, YOUR EWI World Champion, the one, the only, TWISTED STEEL!

"Bang Your Head" pounded over the speakers as a plethora of silver and blue spotlights danced across the arena. In a burst of colored smoke appeared the EWI world champion Twisted Steel, dressed in his shiny black wrestling pants and cutoff blue rhinestoned robe with the EWI world title firmly strapped around his waist. After his confident walk to the ring, Steel stepped through the ropes which were being held open by Adam Kogler, then struck a familiar pose on the turnbuckle with the world title before stepping down to confer with his manager/partner and await his opponents. "Sad But True" then filled the arena, introducing the opponents. Led by the seven-footer from Sudan, Jamaal, Diamond King and Ray Brewer made their way to the ring. DK wore his usual black, white, and silver wrestling singlet and came down with the CWA world title around his waist and the MMP world title over his shoulder, while Brewer was wearing blue wrestling trunks, the same as he wore years ago when he was a wrestler. Jamaal remained on the outside as DK and Brewer entered the ring. As they did so Twisted Steel, from across the ring, held out the world title in DK's direction and tapped it, smiling all the while. DK responded by passing his two title belts to Jamaal with his left hand while counting 1, 2 on the right, and then pointing at Steel's belt, saying "next week", and bringing the belt count on his hand to three. As the bell rang Steel and Kogler huddled in their corner, with Steel then stepping out to the apron and Kogler making a "bring it" motion towards Brewer. Kogler then started doing something that vaguely resembled shadow boxing in his corner while Brewer insisted to his partner that he be allowed to begin the match. Brewer, a former midwestern champion, looked very confident as he slowly moved towards Kogler and attempted to lock up, but Kogler, himself a former world television champion, ducked away at the last moment, walking over to a neutral corner and leaning through the ropes, tapping his temple with his index finger. The referee held Brewer back as the crowd booed Kogler's cowardly tactics, but the manager from Long Island finally did come back to the center of the ring and lock up. He didn't stay engaged for long, though, again ducking away from Brewer's grasp. By this point Brewer was already frustrated with his opponent and he chased Kogler into the corner. Unfortunately for Brewer, he chased Kogler into his own corner, and was promptly met with a hard right hand from the outside from Twisted Steel, knocking Brewer to the mat. This prompted Jamaal to hurry around the ring and hop up on the apron, but before he could get to Steel the referee intervened and warned him to back away, allowing Steel to hold Brewer in the corner while Kogler stomped him repeatedly about the chest. By the time Jamaal got down and the ref could see what was going on Kogler had landed about a half dozen shots, winding Brewer to the point where Kogler was able to pull him to his feet with ease. He grabbed Brewer in a headlock and ran out, driving Brewer face first to the mat with a bulldog. As Brewer rolled over onto his back Kogler stood at the head of his fallen opponent, and after an exaggerated windup cupped his hand to his ear to absorb the boos of the crowd. After a brief flexing display Kogler started to pull Brewer up again, but Brewer had been able to catch his breath while Kogler was performing, and caught Kogler with a hard right hand to the midsection. Kogler was knocked back and fell to one knee. Brewer wasn't about to let him get away again and quickly grabbed Kogler, sending him into the ropes and knocking him flat on his back with a clothesline. He then went to the corner and tagged in Diamond King, but before the five-time world champion could get his hands on the "Strong Island Scrapper", Kogler scurried to the corner and made the tag to Twisted Steel, which brought the crowd to it's feet. This was the matchup they were waiting for. The two men exchanged punches in the middle of the ring but Steel, more adept at hand-to-hand combat than his more technically minded adversary, quickly gained the upper hand. He sent his dazed opponent into the ropes, took him over with a hiptoss, and connected with his patented somersault legdrop before going for the first cover of the match. Steel only got a one count but didn't let that deter him, as he quickly yanked DK to his feet. As DK tried to shake the cobwebs Steel bounced off the ropes and connected with a spinning heel kick. Obviously looking to win early Steel went for another cover, but again DK kicked out, this time after two. Yet again Steel pulled DK up, his time using a series of kneelifts to the midsection to back the man into the corner. With DK winded and being propped up by the top rope Steel backed out and charged in with a clothesline, but DK moved out of the way, sending Steel sternum first into the buckle. While Steel was stunned DK took a few steps back and ran in with a clothesline of his own, sandwiching Steel against the turnbuckle and snapping his head forward. He then grabbed Steel from behind, lifted him into position for a back suplex, and turned the move into a sitdown powerbomb, scoring a two count before Steel raised his right shoulder. From there DK went to work, isolating the leg of the world champion. While holding Steel's right leg out DK delivered a series of three kneedrops right to his opponent's knee joint, causing Steel to yell out and slap the canvas in pain. DK then wrenched back on the leg a couple of times before hitting a legdrop across the knee, which he then turned into a leg grapevine. Steel scrambled for the ropes, quickly clutching the bottom strand, forcing the referee to call for the break. Realizing the implications of the match DK quickly let go and got to his feet, taunting Steel as the world champ used the ropes to pull himself up. A forearm across the back of the head dazed Steel once he was up, allowing DK to again set him up for a back suplex. This time, instead of just driving him down, he bent Steel's right leg at the knee and dropped Steel shin-first onto DK's own knee. Steel rolled over in obvious pain, clutching his lower right leg, but DK wasn't going to give him a chance to recover. He pulled Steel to his feet and connected with a Russian leg sweep before applying a figure four leglock. Steel tried to reach for the ropes once again, but this time he was too far away to grab them. Instead, he reached his arms behind him, pushed down with his hands to gain some distance between himself and the canvas, and swung hard to the side to try and reverse the hold. The force caused DK to swing to the side, and a final push from Steel rolled him over, putting the pressure of the hold back on Diamond King! Diamond King was facing the center of the ring and wasn't going to reach the ropes, so he worked his legs free and turned it into the Lethal Injection! Fortunately for Steel by then he was right in front of the ropes and was able to force a break even before DK fully got the hold applied. DK dropped Steel's legs in frustration, but then as Steel was getting up he grabbed hold of the right leg yet again. Steel hobbled along as DK pulled him out towards the middle of the ring, but before DK could connect with another offensive move Steel caught him with an insiguri kick to the back of the head, knocking DK face first to the mat. Steel collapsed right next to him, unable to follow up as a result of the pain shooting through his legs. Both men were very slow getting to their feet, but after being on the receiving end of such an assault Steel was slower than his more experienced opponent. With DK on his feet Steel shot up and lunged forward with a clothesline, but DK ducked and rolled Steel up from behind, scoring a two count before Steel kicked out. The force of Steel's kickout sent DK back a couple of steps, towards the Steel/Kogler corner. Seeing an opportunity, Adam Kogler reached over the top rope and swatted DK across the back of the head. The Canadian turned around, grabbed Kogler by the scruff of the neck, and began quietly threatening him, while out of his field of vision Twisted Steel was getting back to his feet. He ran into DK from behind, causing him to hit head-to-head with Kogler in the corner! Kogler fell to the floor and Steel rolled DK up for the thr--DK kicked out at the last second. While DK was getting up Steel slapped the canvas in frustration, and once both men were up they again started trading blows, just as they had done early in the match. After either man got a pair of shots in Steel blocked a DK punch, hooked him in an armbar, and attempted his own version of the Spirit Breaker, but DK had a counter, dropping to a knee to block Steel before connecting with a reverse neckbreaker of his own. DK looked over as if to go for a cover, but before he could Adam Kogler started into the ring, taunting his opponent. Diamond King responded with some comments of his own and started walking towards Kogler, but he was stopped in his tracks by a forearm uppercut below the belt, courtesy of a recovering Twisted Steel. The Canadian fell to his knees as Steel got up, and after going over and pie-facing Brewer in the corner, drove DK to the canvas with a DDT. He then rolled Diamond King over and made the cover, but again all he could get was a two count. Despite moving more slowly than usual after the extended assault on his legs, Steel took advantage of his opportunity. He pulled DK over to the corner, hopped to the second turnbuckle, and delivered an elbowdrop, but rather than go for a cover, he pulled DK up to continue the offense. Steel whipped DK across the ring, sending him hard into the turnbuckle, and followed right in with the Crazy Train running dropkick. DK's head snapped forward and Steel hooked him in a full nelson. As he spun DK out towards the center of the ring a big smile crossed Steel's face, but before he could deliver a move DK countered, rolling out of the hold, hooking Steel in a full nelson of his own, and delivering the Face Down In The Gutter! Both men lay face down in the middle of the ring, both breathing heavily after the punishing match they had endured to that point. They both crawled over to their respective corners, but due to their positioning in the ring Steel made it to his first. He tagged in Kogler, who hurried in anxious to get his shots in on a battered Diamond King, but before he could get to him DK reached up and tagged in Ray Brewer. Kogler froze in his tracks as Brewer stepped through the ropes, but there was no hesitation in the former midwestern champion. He laid right into Kogler with hard right hands before scooping him up and bodyslamming him down. Brewer then mounted Kogler and started raining right hands down into his forehead. Kogler was putting up very little resistance; Brewer was really tearing into him. Brewer then pulled Kogler to his feet, doubled him over, and connected with his old finishing move, the jumping piledriver, right in the middle of the ring. He covered Kogler and hooked the leg, and got a two count before Twisted Steel interrupted, catching Brewer across the back of the head with a quick elbowdrop. Diamond King ran back into the ring, and he and Steel tore into each other once again. The referee tried to step between them, tried to get them to go back to their corners, but neither man would hear it. They battled towards a neutral corner with the referee right behind them while Kogler started slowly crawling towards the corner, where he left his jacket before the match. He reached into the jacket and pulled out his trusty crowbar, holding it out for all to see, a big grin on his face. As he turned around, though, he saw Ray Brewer standing right in front of him, staring him down. Kogler dropped the crowbar in surprise and begged off, trying to call for time out from his knees as Brewer picked up the crowbar. He raised the crowbar high above his head and went to slam it down into Kogler, but before he could deliver the fatal blow Twisted Steel, who had escaped from the referee while the official remained with Diamond King, grabbed Brewer from behind and delivered the Living End! Steel then hopped through the ropes and out of the ring as Kogler moved over to make a cover, but the ref was still tied up with Diamond King. While this was going on Heavy D, wearing his universal title belt around his waist and bandages around his upper body after his gruelling match earlier in the night against who was later revealed to be Benjamin Childs. Heavy D came running down to the ring, and with DK and Steel fighting on the outside, he slid into the ring. Adam Kogler got up off of Brewer, who rolled over to the corner and tried to pull himself together, and yelled at Heavy D, poking him repeatedly in the chest and telling him to get the hell out of the ring. The universal champ responded by flooring Kogler with a Ghetto Punch, much to the delight of the sold out crowd! Using the ropes for assistance Brewer pulled himself to his feet, but before he could move out after Kogler, Wolverine came running down to the ring. The referee, still on the outside trying to break up Twisted Steel and Diamond King, was oblivious to Wolverine grabbing a chair away from the timekeeper. He got up on the ring apron and went to swing it at Brewer, but Jamaal grabbed Wolverine by the leg and yanked him down off the ring apron. The Michigan Outlaw and the former HWA champion brawled out on the floor on the opposite side as DK and Steel, leaving a KO'd Kogler on the canvas and Heavy D and Ray Brewer arguing in the ring. Even with all that happening around the ring, the fans all started looking out towards the entrance way, where they saw the entire Cult - The Destroyer, Seta Soujiro, Harbinger, Benjamin Childs, and Apocalypse - heading down the aisle, with The Cult Master bringing up the rear, directing his followers. Harbinger and Apocalypse attacked Wolverine and Jamaal, while Childs rolled into the ring. Brewer tried to stop him, but was floored with a boot to the face before Childs brawled with Heavy D. Kogler simply played dead on the canvas. Soujiro and Destroyer attacked Steel and Diamond King, and with all that was going on it was clear to the official that he was not going to regain control of the match. He finally just called for the bell, ruling the match a no contest. The huge collection of combatants continued to fight, with The Cult Master looking on approvingly from the runway. Just then, the arena went dark and flames errupted at the entranceway. Three ominous looking children appeared on the video screen.

Children (speaking simultaneously): When Time Comes, You Will See The Darkness That Will Enter Your Soul. You Will Will Hear The Screams And The Pains Of Others. You Will Understand What Many Have Never Spoken Of....

The children faded out, leaving the arena in darkness as the show went off the air.
