Ok before we get started you need to know that Advent Cildren is NOT a game is IS actually an interactive DVD. Confused? Well me too. So lets get to the story. Very little is known about the story so far but this is what we have managed to scoop up so far. The story takes place 2 years after the end of final fantasy VII. The plant has become a peaceful place, but cities and industry are in ruin. Most of the population seems to have caught a disease called "Star Scar" syndrome. Cloud has ben living alone, having lost all his friends and companions from final fantasy VII. He feels guilty after what he has done while trying to save the world. Was it right? Was it worth it? He now feels all alone in the world.
In the trailer we see cloud riding through what looks to be the ruins of midgar. He is then attacked by a mystery attacker with what looks to be some kind of energy weapon. Then a sword fight takes place between Cloud and this unknown enemy. The enemy has silver hair and wears long black clothng. He bears a strange resemblence to Sephiroth (yet i wouldn't like to confirm it is him or a relation to im).
We also see the unknown enemy bowing to a person shrouded in a black cloak from head to toe. A flash back of Sephiroth then appears on scren could there be some connection here?
