I spend the whole of my childhood in Queenstown. A 'street wise' kid, I
would say... Why? Well I am the kid running everywhere, be it in the
SuperMarket NTUC or Wet Market or Library or Food Centre or HBD flats, anything
in Queenstown that you name it~! Everyone who say me will say - That son of
Rojak. My dad was selling Rojak then. However, I'm now the son of
Chicken Rice.

Till now, the furthest place I had gone is also the highest place, Genting Highland. Been there dunno how many time liao~! Kuala Lumpur is one of the place I know quite well, cos whenever I go Genting, I'll go K.L. Though these places are nice, but everytime go there I also sianz... Hope can ask someone to go other country. But the only problem is $$$...

No doubt about it, I'm the favorite child in the family~! My parents just adore me a lot. I'm just so different as compared to my siblings... I got a lot of things that they don't~! Things like freedom. Everyone is talking about it, my grandparents, siblings, uncles & aunts. What can I say? Well, I'm just too adorable for anyone to resist then~! I know you wanna puke okie, so do it now and then get back to your chair and read on~! Just take a look at the picture on top. Look at the expression on my mum's face, she's like saying,"Oh, look at my cute son~! There he goes on putting that irresistible face again~!"

This is it~! Allow me to introduce you, Tong Kee Chicken Rice~! A little bit of history, before this chicken rice stall, it was a Rojak stall... Both owned by my dad. This is also the palce where I'll always be when I was a child. Sunday morning from 1000hrs to 1530hrs, I gotta be there, be it rain or shine. Now, our chicken is deep fried with our house special seasoning combinations. We are more famous in our fried chicken then our white chicken. But that's not it, wait till you have a taste of the rice, gravy and the chilli sauce~! I gurentee you, POWER~! I used to have chicken rice everyday, NO KIDDING~! I sometimes even take two meals of chicken rice~!
Wouldn't I get bored? Yes of course, I'll be lying if I said no~! I normally eat one part at a certain time. For example, I'll have chicken wing for a month, then when I'm sick and tired of it, I switch to drumstick. From then on I'll keep rotating till I got sick of fried chicken, I'll change to white chicken again~! I also dunno how many years I have been eating my dad's chicken rice liao, even till now I'm still eating them~! My personal favorite is fried wings with rice, without the gravy.
