I was introduced to the World of DMB by my University roomate when he found the game on an old computer when it was known as Persue the Pennant Baseball (PTP). After re-discovering the game we both purchased the new DMB and I have been hooked ever since.

In 1998 I founded the GSBL (Grand Slam Baseball League), and I am still an active member in this league which is still running strong entering its 10th season of play!

Despite being a Canadian, baseball has been my passion for as long as I can remember. So much so I pursued a career in the sporting industry. Aquiring a BA in Sports Management from Brock University, and later a Post Graduate degree in Sports Journalism and New Media from Sheridan College.

Throughout my sporting career I have worked for the NHL All-Star Fantasy Experience in Toronto, the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL (2000 Season), the Buffalo Bisons of the International League (2001 Season), as well as working for major sports television networks in Canada such as Sportsnet (Canada's version of FSN), and TSN Canada's Sports Leader (basically ESPN Canada).

The EBL has been a long time in the making, a league that was discussed many years ago with a few DMB owner friends but never came to fruition. A vision of an MLB like mirror league where DMB's best come to run the best franchises they can. Those who love the draft in the late rounds for that guy who pitched 3 innings and is touted to be a star in 2 years, you can finally draft him and be rewarded down the road if you make room on your 40-man roster for him.

Remember we will have fun, there will be arguments and disagreements, but in the end it's all in good fun.
