Umi comes from a long line of CIA agents, and informants. Her father currently is one, and her mother was and helped out even after raising four kids. But when Umi was 15 her mom was kidnapped and her father has been hunting down the kidnappers since. She also has three older brothers Ethan, Ryuji, and Souh, who taught her almost everything about the street. But they can get overprotective at times. Which very much annoys Umi since she can handle things on her own.
Umi is into the arts, as in martial arts, and she knows various forms. She is also very into drag racing, this she gets from her brothers, and is good at fixing any car up. She has her own team called Shadow Shuriken. Umi is into snowboarding too, but she doesn't really have the time to snowboard that much. She also loves learning languages, cultures and the history of vaious counties.
