plot summary
Bob Hoskins plays an eccentric sea captain who assembles a motley crew to follow the path one Captain Scoresby. With a ship "not deemed sea worthy" by the ship inspectors, they sail from Whitby (Northen England) to the Arctic. An Australian hitchhiker hiding from ex-girlfriends(Peter), bickering sisters (Sadie Frost and Maureen Lipman), a trailer park owner(Anna Massey), and Captain Jack (Hoskins) put the ship to sea and are thus pursued by the authorities.
The film runs 90 minutes and was produced in the UK.
