From what is known of him from rumors, texts and various sources, this much
has been discerned...
Since his enterance to the public scene of Lensmoor, Vodran has been the
center of scandal and intrigue, while seemingly managing to avoid really
confirming anything said of him. It is at least rumored that Vodran had a
child with a married woman, long ago, though he has certainly since moved
on, possibly even becoming engaged.
It is held that Vodran is a skilled necromancer and practitioner of dark
arts, and rumored that he has brought at least one being completely back
from beyond the grave. He is said to be a skilled writer, and may have
several published works under various pen names.
A devout follower of Celeste since he came to Lensmoor, it is said that he
once wished to follow Arawn, though it is also rumored that even then his
true fielty was held by Darkness.
Very little of his past is known before he turned up in Chancy over a
century ago, but rumor has said that he is much older than he appears; He
claims high nobility of a lost civilization, though what truth these
obscure and cryptic claims may hold is either shrouded in a dark haze for
now, entirely lost save to Vodran alone, or perhaps non-existant.
Vodran openly claims the title of 'Dark Archon of Celeste', as well as
membership to the Algolians. It is said that he holds power within the
faith similar to a member of the clergy, though he denies that he carries
any such title.
