Welcome to the archives of The Man Comics! This is where you can read my goofy original comic about the Man! But before you emabark on this wacky adventure, you should read the following short history of the Man.
First, it is important to note that the Man seen in these comics is not supposed to be THE Man, as in The Man who oppresses people. Originally, I thought to name these comics The Adventures of Stick Man, because the main character is a stick drawing of a person; but seeing as how some people have their minds in the gutter I decided against it (likewise, Puck Man had to become Pac Man because of aforementioned gutter dwellers--not that I have anything against their kind; and I may even be among them *gasp*!).
Now let's go even further back in the history of the Man. The first Man comic was the result of two things: 1. my creative energy was depleted after doing a particularly consuming drawing; 2. I was really, really bored in the lunchroom. This was back when I was in high school. Anyway, it was never meant to be something serious, and when I started doodling I didn't know where it was going. The end result was four pages of nonsense and pop culture, anime, and video game name dropping. But the strangest part was that people actually liked it! So I got into the habit of doing The Man Comics whenever I was bored. However, don't believe that these comics are boring! You may not get all of the jokes or references; but at least a couple people have found these doodles amusing regardless. Look for more Man in the future. Enjoy!
