"Safer" Sephiroth

This picture is actually pretty old, I did it in 2001. I never put it up because I had to scan it in two halves, and I couldn't put the pieces together gracefully. I came back to this pic now because I have Photoshop Elements available to me at home now, and realized I could put the pieces together by strategically cropping the image and blurring the background. Since my original intent was for the background to fade into the sky anyways, this worked well (thinks I). And, is it just me, or does anyone else think the name in the game "Safer Sephiroth" didn't make any sense? I should think at that point maybe 'Savior Sephiroth' would've made more sense, but I suppose all the video game playing religious zealots would've had their panties in a bunch.
