| When did you get married? September 18, 1999, to Jason Poole, a paleontologist and paleo-illustrator. It made me a stepmother, too - her name is Arielle. Here are some wedding pictures! |

| Why all the Halloween stuff?? I have a memory (accurate or not is anyone's guess) of being at an "adult" party when I was in Kindergarden, and one of my mom's friends telling me a vampire story. (I assume it was probably a ghost story, but my memory is otherwise.) So... ultimately, it's all Richard's fault! - I've always had a love of vampire folklore and literature, which was reinforced by a local Saturday afternoon movie show, "Creature Double Feature." To have the opportunity to be involved in a haunted house like Grisly Gothic Gables is something I always dreamed of, and will always be grateful for. |

| How many jobs do you have? Currently, by day I'm a data quality analyst, but I'm hoping to make the leap to zoo keeping very soon. I've been a part time animal keeper for about 7 years now, and a part time butterfly keeper for 3-1/2 years. I also do freelance writing (not too much fiction these days), I'm in charge of the acting personnel at Grisly, and I've been a board member of IAHA (see the Cool Stuff link) for 3 years. 'Zat enough?? |
