Now to actually make the tounge. Select the "tounge faces" and extrude them. It should look like Figure 16. Delete the selected edge and merge the 4 vertices (look like 2, but there are actually 4.)

Keep on extruding, deleting edges, merging vertices, and rotating them to make the tounge and to form it. We have the finished tounge as shown in Figure 17
