Here I will be posting models I am currently working on

Here is the completed Mesh. Right now, the face count is at 760 polys (triangles) and it is too high. I might just redo the legs again though. (Isnt this model much better than my model I tried to make in Truespace? ;-) ). All I need to do now is texture it. What am I talking about....If I keep on tweaking the model, I will never get done and never be abel to say "all I have to do now is..." sheesh ;-)

Here is my newest creation (I think?) Anyway, I will be writing a tutorial on this soon sometime,..He will hopefully get into a game, such as halflife. Forget what I say below about the creature I worked on for Quake 3. you CAN DEFINATELY model a character for a game with anim8or...Now that I am writing a converter for it to Milkshape, You should be able to get it into as many game as milkshape supports. I think thats it, tell me what you think on my forum. thanks.

IMAGE UPDATE!. I am almost done with my character guy and now am modelling the face. I will post something up soon!

Actually, now that I look at his legs, I might completely redo the legs because they look too square, dont you agree? Compared to the arms, which are rotated 45 degrees to make them look rounder, the legs look like blocks,..I dont know why I didnt do that to the legs,..

All I have to do now is the head and textures..!! yippe!!

I am making this guy to show that anim8or is capable in making actors for games. (He comes from the 1998 issue of Game Developer Magazine) Hopefully I will be doing animations for him in anim8or, but they wont be able to be exported to any Quake games. Once anim8or gets the plugin capability, I will start writing an md2 plugin for it so that you would be able to export animations made with anim8or into quake 2. :-) (Hopefully vertex level animations will be supported by then.)

I was looking at my forum today(7/17/00) and I read Morbius' post. Since I didnt get a reply back, I didnt do anything and waited. Well, I felt bad, so I made this little truck. It took me an hour and I am still working on it, so it should be in the gallery soon.
