Stanza 9
Sing on, there in the swamp!
O singer bashful and tender! I hear your notesI hear your call;
I hearI come presentlyI understand you;
But a moment I lingerfor the lustrous star has detaind me;
The star, my departing comrade, holds and detains me.
Elegy 2:
      - All nature joins in mourning shepherd's death
      - Examples include "Sing on there in the swamp! O singer bashful and tender!" and "The star, my departing comrade, holds and detains me."
