Journal 9/27/04 - this journal was about Alexander the Great, and about my opinion about his life and the website that I read about him. The website was great; there was a ton of information about him. It was impressive to see how many challenges he had to go through while he grew up, such as witnessing the death of his father. Alexander got through those hard times and became one of the most powerful men in all history! He basically conquered the world, and was the king of it all. He fulfilled his father’s dreams, and took over more countries than his father could have imagined possible. It was said in the website about Alexander the Great that he is believed to have paved the way for Christianity, because he announced Greek the official language in all of the countries he conquered. Alexander united the countries together, and after he died, created the Hellenistic Period.
