Dear Ms Wilkins,

I have always felt myself to be a women of great strength and character. I have been working in the medical field for over 18 years now and have learned a lot during this time. I have a very deep passion for nursing and got into this field after nursing my father back to health. After this I went to train at the London Hospital. 

 
I have been working as a nurse for many years now and have many qualifications such as a variety of prior jobs in the nursing area. I worked for some time at London Hospital as a nurse and later took a bob as a private nurse. During these two jobs I have learned how to deal with many serious illnesses such as typhoid fever, pneumonia, and appendicitis. I also worked as a assistant matron and so I have some talent in organization and leadership. I believe that these qualifications have helped to prepare me for this job of a frontline nurse in our war.   

I would like to give you some time to review my cover letter and resume and hope this will help you to see that I will greatly benefit the Red Cross in my service to our country.
